Transcendental Jewels - Part 3

Dear Prabhujis and Matajis,
Hare Krishna. Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.

I would like to continue with some of the jewel like instructions that I had written in my notebook from our Maharaj's transcendental pravacan in Feb 2007.

1. Devotees do not worry if they have less or more. Non-devotees worry when they have less and are jubiliant when they have more.

2. Disease comes from Anxiety, Uncleanliness and too much Eating.

3. I may not know how to cook but I can find out if the cooking is good or not. Same is the case with preaching. The audience may not know the philosophy but they can find out if we are speaking from our heart.

4. Unless each pore of our body is prasanna (joyful) it doesn't open. Without that, the perspiration does not happen which in turn is connected to our health. By being joyful all the pores of our body opens and the bad water is thrown out as perspiration.

5. We should always have a spiritual angle of vision. Spiritual angle is always safe.

6. Detachment is not there in us. But we want to do preaching. Detachment is what gave Prabhupada success. In detachment everything becomes ours.

7. To request others to perform devotional service is the outer manifestation of inner devotional service.

8. There is no alternative to sincerity. Unless you are sincere you cannot be serious.

9. There is no gati other than Srimad Bhagavatam for us.

10. Exercise and completely self-dependent attitude for our own activities will keep our body alright.

11. Continuous use of our bodily organs will keep them active and healthy.

12. Bhagavatam and detachment were naturally interwoven in our lives even a few decades back.

13. We have to digest the meaning of the verses. Only then our preaching will be perfect.

14. When we do service, it is not that only we feel happy. Everyone who is part of it feels happy.

15. Every invention of ours is threatening our existence. By carefully understanding this, we should try to keep our devotional life as simple as possible.

16. We try to trust the human nature, but everywhere everytime we are defeated.

17. The wife is completely safe till she obeys. The day she disobeys she loses everything.

18. Dear living entities cannot always be together. Krishna has His own ways to separate living entities and bring them together.

19. What we think is expressed as words. The words are basis of action. The actions we perform become our habits. The habits build up our character and our character leads to our destiny. This sequence reveals the importance of thought process.

20. An attached person pretends to be detached but a detached person acts in a considerate loving manner - Srila Prabhupada.

Krishna willing, we will share more jewels in the subsequent offerings.

Thank you very much.
Yours in service of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva,
Kalacakra Krsna das.
