The material miseries of the living entity, which are superfluous to him,can be directly mitigated by the linking process of Devotional Service. But the mass of people do not know this,& therefore the learned Vyasadeva compiled this vedic literature, which is in relation to the SUPREME TRUTH.
The essence of everything is the Supreme Lord: He is called the saram. And those who sing and talk about Him are called the sarangas, or the pure devotees.
In assocaition of pure devotees, discussion of the pastimes & activities ofthe Supreme Presonality of Godhead is very pleasing & satisfying to the ear & the heart.
Srimad Bhagavatham being a transcendental literature provides us with the solution for all our problems. It is the literary incarnation of Lord Krishna Himself.
Nothing remains unachieved when the Supreme Personality of Godhead is pleased with someone. By transcendental achievement one understands everything else to be insignificant. One who engages in transcendental loving service is elevated to the highest perfectional stage by the Lord Himself, who is seated in everyone's heart.

'Intelligence is not gauged by IQ examinations but the ability to distinguish the permanent from the temporary, the true from the false, the good from the bad - and to act on that understanding.
