In Srimad Bhagavatam, we are given everything we need to attain pure devotional service. All we need to do is repeatedly study these valuable instructions and practice them.
He gave his mercy to anyone and everyone without any consideration. And he eternally lives with those who sincerely follow him. As it is said, "The Acarya is not frozen in time."
Any opinion different from the opinion of the spiritual master is useless. One cannot infiltrate materially concocted ideas into spiritual advancement. That is deviation. There is no scope for adjusting spiritual advancement to material ideas."
"No one can give rapt attention who is not pure in mind. No one can be pure in mind who is not pure in action. No one can be pure in action who is not pure in eating, sleeping, fearing and mating."
So by a systematic understanding and realization of the above three points one can give up the three bad qualities (lust, anger and greed) and attain the supreme abode. This is possible by hearing about the Lord in the association of devotees and serving the Lord to the best of one's ability.
The following is a verse from Sri Brahma samhita which gives the preliminary process for attaining the highest devotion, which is the ultimate well-being for all the living entities.
To understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead and perform devotional service, the bare minimum requirement is to be atleast in the mode of goodness. So how to build the bridge between the two sides ? The only solution is "Prasadam"
"From these three one achieves the highest goal of life-ecstatic love of Krsna. This is the greatest mercy of Lord Krsna. The evidence is Kalidasa himself."
All the other scriptures in the world give only a vague description of who that Absolute Truth is... whereas Srimad Bhagavatam, in its very first verse, gives us the exact answer that "That Supreme Absolute Truth(param satyam) is Vaasudeva - Lord Sri Krishna! (om namo bhagavate vaasudevaaya...satyam param dhimahi"
These prayers of Srila Sukadev Goswami are so nice. We are eternally indebted to our spiritual master for revealing to us many treasures like these buried in Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavatam.
Today is the disappearance day of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur. It is auspicious to remember this great acarya in our disciplic succession on this important day. y going to London depends on so many factors which are ultimately controlled by Krishna. But if I say, "Krishna willing, I will be going to London", then it is perfect, because if Krsna desires, I will go and if He does not desire, I will not go. Either way it is perfect. Similarly, even when we do any activity, if we have the same consciousness that "Krishna willing...", then we will become perfect and peaceful.
