What happened to this Duryodhan? He was not a bad man. At the time of death, he was very good. It so happened that his thigh was broken by Bhima and he was lying on the battle-field.

Studying Bhagavatam will help you to be transcendental to material life. But please be careful that to be transcendental to material life, does not mean that you should be careless in material life.
There is a very nice example of a tree on the bank of the river and there is a reflection of the tree on the water. Water moves. But we see the reflection and we lament and cry or we are very happy.
"Arjuna said: You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the ultimate abode, the purest, the Absolute Truth. You are the eternal, transcendental, original person, the unborn, the greatest. Uddhava was shocked to see the supreme loving attraction of Nanda Maharaj and Yashoda for Lord Krishna. He praised them as "most praiseworthy persons in entire world" and assured them that Krishna will soon return.
This argument of Hiranyakashipu we very nicely understand and it should be remembered again and again. It is not that one verse (Srimad Bhagavatam 7.2.21) we have done three-four days ago and now we are hurrying to the next verses.
