Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble pranams. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.

In the previous offering on this topic, "Science of Atma-tattva", we understood that

1. Atma tattva is not dry philosophy, but practical behaviour in our day to day life.
2. It is a science and needs to be applied in our lives to realize the knowledge of the soul and the Supersoul.
3. Science of Atma tattva will be revealed to us only if we perform non deceptive penance without any motive.

Now we will see what is the result of applying atma-tattva through behaviour and non deceptive penance without any motive.

In Srimad Bhagavatam verse 2.9.4 Sukadev Goswami says to Maharaj Pariskhit.

atma-tattva-vishuddhy-artham / yad aaha bhagavaan rtam
brahmane darshayan rupam / avyalika-vrataadrtah

"O King, the Personality of Godhead, being very much pleased with Lord Brahma because of his non-deceptive penance in bhakti-yoga, presented His eternal and transcendental form before Brahma and that is the objective goal for purifying the conditioned soul."

Once we behave as a servant of Krishna and perform non deceptive penance in bhakti yoga without any motive then the objective goal of conditioned soul is achieved by the process of becoming completely Krishna conscious and purified of material contamination. Then Vaikunta or darshan of the Lord becomes rightful claim for him at the end of this life itself for such purified soul. The whole objective of devotional service is to become Krishna conscious and that secret is being revealed by Lord Brahma very wonderfully by his own action and how he had darshan of the Lord and by Lord's mercy the whole creation has come into manifestation.

In this verse, "artham", word is worth meditating. In the word to word equivalents, Srila Prabhupada has translated it as "goal" and in the translation he has used the word "objective goal". Objective is a thing aimed at or sought and goal means the object of a person's ambition or effort; an aim or desired result. Our goal is to purify our existence, but if it is not focused on the Supreme Object Krishna then we may deviate from the goal. Supreme object in our lives is to become 100% purified in Krishna consciousness and that should be our goal. Not a single word is superfluously used by Srila Prabhupada and this makes me cry from my heart that how much this exalted soul from spiritual world, has come just to awaken our consciousness to realize this importance of becoming purified 100% in Krishna consciousness in this life. How much he would have meditated upon each and every word! I don't have capacity nor the capability to glorify him properly. I am trying in humble way to glorify him through this verse of Mukunda mala strotra.

jayatu jayatu abhayacharana rajnidevi nandano yam
jayatu jayatu bhaktivedanta de vamsha-pradipah
jayatu jayatu prabhupada hrdaya komalaangau
jayatu jayatu prthvi-bhaara naasho mukundadaasah

"All glories to this Abhaya charana, known as the son of Rajni devi! All glories to Bhakti Vedanta, the brilliant light of the De dynasty! All glories to Srila Prabhupada, who has a soft heart! All glories to Mukundadasa who removes the burdens of the earth!"

I therefore pray to Srila Prabhupada to really give me the mercy to understand his greatness and thereby really start performing non-deceptive penance in this life itself.

Thank you very much,
Yours in service of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva,
Sajjanapriya Krishna das,
Abudhabi.
