Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya (3)

vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā
man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ
bahavo jñāna-tapasā
pūtā mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ

By the end of the discourse, devotees must be able to recite this verse without looking into the Bhagavad Gita. So please be attentive.

vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā
man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ

bahavo jñāna-tapasā
pūtā mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ

So you don’t all have Bhagavad Gita? So don’t recite. We will go to the meanings.

vīta — freed from; rāga — attachment; bhaya — fear; krodhāḥ — and anger; mat-mayāḥ — fully in Me; mām — in Me; upāśritāḥ — being fully situated; bahavaḥ — many; jñāna — of knowledge; tapasā — by the penance; pūtāḥ — being purified; mat-bhāvam — transcendental love for Me; āgatāḥ — attained.

Translation by Srila Prabhupad. Srila Prabhupad ki Jai.

It is not an accident. You have got other meanings in different books. You are here. We have a beautiful Deity in Central London. In Central London there is Oxford Street. There is a very important world famous shopping centre there. And very near to Oxford street we have beautiful temple. Downstairs we have restaurant and if you go first floor Krishna is standing……(inaudible for me)

These deities have very special significance. Because these are the first Deities installed in ISKCON. And Srila Prabhupad was totally responsible for these Deities. For what happened then, he had a small place on lease, you know. And it was very near to the Museum, London Museum and it was a very small place you know, but very near to Oxford Street. But that place was very small. So Prabhupad wanted to construct a Vedic temple there. So he ordered one devotee, he was a very nice carpenter. So he brought all the wood from Norway. Very nice teak wood you know. And then very nicely decorated the whole hall. And it looked like a wooden cave you know.  And Radha Londonisvara was to be installed there. Then Srila Prabhupad fixed the date to install the Deities. And there were no Deities (laughs) and the devotees were getting ready to install the Deities. And every time the carpenter would turn to Prabhupad, “Prabhupad, everything is getting ready to install the Deities, but there are no Deity.” “They are coming.” (Maharaj laughs). Prabhupad was very calm you know. “They are coming.” And hardly two days were left. “Prabhupad when are they coming? Everything is ready. Are you hearing what we are telling?” “Yes, yes they are coming.” And the same day, about midday, some Indian called, by phone, rang to the temple. I have got the Deities from India but we are not going to install. I think that it may be useful to you. He was just offering….and Prabhupad immediately accepted because it was near, you know. Prabhupad was happy at least some Deities were coming. So he said to the devotees, “Now bring your man and we will go and get it.” The …was ready and he had just offered to Prabhupad. So Prabhupad and his devotees, like army get on to the house (laughs). Prabhupad told the devotees, “You just follow my instructions, don’t talk anything. what I say, you do…..” So he took Prabhupad to the Deities. Yes They are beautiful Deities, come in time. So Prabhupad went inside and he saw the Deities, you know. He knew that these are the Deities. And they are beautiful, very extra beautiful. And They are kept very nice you know. So there was a devotee, two three devotees were there. So he said to one of them, “Just see how heavy They are.” One devotee said, “Prabhupad, They are not heavy.” “OK then take Them.” The man did not understand what is happening. “Prabhupad we will bring the Deities, We will come to the temple.” “No, no, take Them now.” Immediately the devotees took up the Deities and ran away before that man can do anything. And then Prabhupad went and sat in the van. “Prabhupad, Prabhupad, please stop, please stop. I will come with the Deities.” The Deities were already in the van and the van drove away. (laughter). And in the middle of the road, then Prabhupad stopped the van … it was very nice. And then he always said that these Deities are so very beautiful, that They are Krishna and Radha, and all other Deities are …and these are the real form. These Deities are extra beautiful, extra beautiful. On Second Canto of Bhagavatam, there is the picture of These Deities, very nice. And they are decorated very nicely, they keep very nice. Very nice dress and good devotion is there. And we were asked to vacate that place and for two months we had no place to go. We had to keep the Deities in the Bhaktivedanta Manor…. And we were worried what to do. So somehow or the other, we could buy two buildings in Oxford Street which is very impossible. It is not possible at all. We cannot get one room at all in Oxford Street. And there was nobody in the building and no one was ready to buy, and we were the only bidder. And so we got them very cheap and then our architect …and we have restaurant downstairs and …and upstairs on the first floor is the temple. And upstairs we have shop and Deity room and ..and above that there are offices ….very small place but very beautiful place. At the moment we have sixty devotees staying there….If you happen to come, you can come….If somebody comes from here definitely tell them to go. It is very near to hill station and it is called…very near to that place. So this is about Deity worship. So see now the translation. Please repeat.

“Being freed from attachment, fear and anger, being fully absorbed in Me and taking refuge in Me, many, many persons in the past became purified by knowledge of Me – and thus they all attained transcendental love for Me.”

Now we have to understand these verses. We have to take one line each, you know, every time. English translation. English transliteration. See, in the first line, there is one beautiful verse, word and it is all combined. vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā, these words are very simple and very familiar to us. Those who Tamil language or any Indian language, they will know rāga is attachment, bhaya is fear and krodhā means anger and vīta means without. This is the condition Lord puts. This is the condition and that’s why it is very easy to remember this verse. Four words only, vīta, rāga, bhaya, krodhā. vīta, rāga, bhaya, krodhā. vīta means without, rāga means attachment. We have rāga, this house is beautiful. We are attached to it. This is how rāga tell us. This is rāga, rāga means we are attracted to it, attachment. Then, without vīta, vīta is very near to English, you know. Vīta in Sanskrit and without in English, very near. This is how you should remember the words, so that you can learn the verse. vīta, rāga, bhaya means fearand krodhā means anger. 4 words, very easy to remember. vīta, rāga, bhaya, krodhā. vīta, rāga, bhaya, krodhā. Come on. (Maharaj makes everyone say by heart.) See you have remembered very nice. It’s not difficult. The secret of learning is you must understand the meaning. And then somehow or other connect with the familiar word. And then you will remember the … and this …has one argument. Krishna says that this is My condition. Those who are without attachment, those who are without fear, those who are without krodhā, they can come to Me. this is condition. And we want to go to Him. So what have we to do? Get rid of these things. 3 things – attachment, fear and anger. If you can get, somehow or the other, if you can get rid of attachment, if you can get rid of fear, if you can get rid of krodhā, then you are a candidate. Isn’t it? and we want to be candidate. So if you want to be candidate, then this is the condition by the Lord. So if you don’t fulfill this condition, then you don’t go. If you fulfill this, He is smilingly welcoming you. Is it clear? This is how first line we have learnt. And then He has second condition in second line. Again there is condition. You know the one….(laughter). He has given second condition again. man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ, man fully in Me, mayā fully in Me, again repeats you know, always in My devotional service, man-mayā,  mām unto Me, upāśritāḥ taking shelter. upāśritāḥ āśray word we have, āśray means shelter. And āśray comes from upāśritāḥ. So you should take the shelter in Me. This is the second line - man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ, 2 words. So now we combine. 2 conditions, vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ. (Maharaj repeats a few number of times). Is it very difficult? No? Then you repeat. (Maharaj makes everyone repeat)

mām upāśritāḥ, mām means Me, upāśritāḥ taking shelter, you just take shelter of Me. and if you take shelter of Krishna, you will not be cheated. I will cheat you, you will cheat me, but He will never cheat you. He will never cheat us. Whatever is good for us, He will give. Because His name is Trikalajnaani. He knows the past and present and future tense. So whatever He arranges it’s always good for us. We may not want it. at the first sight, you will be angry with Him, “How You can trouble me like this”, you know. But He does it for good. You know that very beautiful story is there, about Krishna kripa, mercy of Krishna.

There was a king, one king, you know that king, he was doing always good job. You know. For example, he built the bridge. We came by the bridge you know. It’s a nice construction. And the king was doing some nice things to the public. And he had a Prime Minister. So everything he did, he went to the Prime Minister and boasted you know, that I have done this and I have done that and I have done that. Then Prime Minister will reply, that is Krishna kripa. He will say it is the mercy of the Lord, you know. So every time the king used to go to him, and tell him I have done this, I have done this, and he will hear the same answer. Then the king was tired of hearing the same answer. What does Krishna does? I am doing everything. And you are just repeating Krishna kripa, what is this? I don’t want this. I am doing it. he said this is also Krishna kripa. (laughs). He will always repeat this. So one day what happened, by accident, his last finger was cut, king’s. so only nine fingers remained. And it was very painful. Naturally his one finger was separated and it was bleeding and very painful. He was shouting and screaming and Prime Minister when he heard that his finger is cut, he went to see king. He said what happened, my finger is cut and ….He said Krishna kripa. (loud laughter). The king was really upset, you know. “Is it Krishna, taking my finger out and I am bleeding like this, is it Krishna? I feel like beating you.” So he called his soldiers and said, “take this rascal from my sight and just put him in prison. I don’t want to see his face again.” So he was so very tired. He said “If Krishna is there how can He give misery like this?” so then what happened the Prime Minister was in the prison, and the king was very fond of hunting. So one day he went to the forest, and to search out some animal, you know. So it was very late and he was separated from his group and lost the way. And it was about evening, you know. So he was really afraid. And tehre were aborigines staying in the forest, the dwellers of the forest. So they have to perform the sacrifices to their Goddess. And they were looking for a good man. And this was nice looking man. So they stopped, “Who are you?” “I am king of this country.” “We don’t know, come on, we want to sacrifice you in front of our Goddess.” And they took away and nicely dressed him ready for the sacrifice. And he was shivering like anything. “I don’t know, now they will kill me and I will never see my kingdom at all.” So now everything was ready, and he was brought in front of the Goddess to be just sacrificed. So the leader of those people he told, “Before you sacrifice this man, you just inspect him, he is all right?” because if something is missing in him the Goddess will not be dissatisfied. So they tried to inspect. Then one finger was missing. (laughs). They said, “King, he has 9 fingers.” Then he said, “No good, get out.” (Loud laughter). Then king remembered the Prime Minister, because Prime Minister has said it is Krishna kripa. He was really correct. Because if I had 10 fingers today, means finished. So somehow or the other he went running to his palace and called the soldiers “you please bring the Prime Minister out of prison.” Then Prime mInister came, and he said “you are very correct” and said, “today if I had 10 fingers I would not have met you at all. May be I would have been in Golok Vrindavan or hell or wherever.” So he said, “but I don’t understand one thing, that when I sent you to prison, you told that also is Krishna kripa. So my finger is cut, it is Krishna kripa, that is all right. But I put you in trouble, in prison. So how do you know that that is also Krishna kripa?” He said, “you don’t understand? if I had been out I would have accompanied you. (loud laughter) so they would have kicked you out but they would have caught me.” (loud laughter). So this is how whatever happens, man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ. We are taking shelter of our powerful Lord. Whatever He does, it’s alright. Today you have a nice palace to stay, tomorrow you may be staying under a tree. Doesn’t matter. Today we have, tomorrow we may not have. We may get our food, we may not get our prasadam. Or we may have some difficulty, some …are going on, Kali yuga is …but we have to ignore these things. And completely, full heartedly take shelter of the Lord. And that is the second condition. And Prabhupad puts very nicely, you know. Being fully situated in Me. upāśritāḥ no other shelter. Other shelters will crack down. This shelter is very powerful. So please this is second condition. And if you understand these two conditions, then it is very easy to remember that. Those 5 words. vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā we have to be without rāga, bhaya and krodhā that is attachment, fear and anger, and we have to be fully situated in Him, taking shelter of Krishna. These are the 2 conditions. So now, could you repeat? (one devotee says by heart) Very good. What is your name? Hari. Hari ki jai! (Everyone repeats one by one with Maharaj saying very good to all of them).

Don’t be in a hurry, is the dog behind you? Why are you hurrying? Come on.

Mataji, I will punish. I will not repeat. No prasadam for one month. Kitchen will be completely closed.

Some more matajis repeated.

End of tape.

TAPE 27B

vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ

Now we go to the third line. And again, in the third line we have to understand bahavo jñāna-tapasā see there are 3 words, in third line, you know. bahavo means many people, many people, jñāna by knowledge and tapasā means by austerities. Now Krishna gives us the reward. He says, first condition is you should be without attachment, fear and anger. And you should be fully situated in Me, fully taking shelter in Me. And then bahavo many people, in the past, who had this knowledge and who had performed the austerities, penance, bahavo jñāna-tapasā pūtā pavitra, they are purified by that, by jñāna and tapasyā. By jñāna means knowledge, and austerity they are purified. And mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ, they have attained to My transcendental love. Bhāvam means transcendental love. mad means My, āgatāḥ means attain. Very easy you know. so now we do third line. vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā this is first line, vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ bahavo jñāna-tapasā bahavo jñāna-tapasā many bahavo, jñāna knowledge, tapasyā penance. You understand this? You must have the knowledge. And we must have the austerity. And how? I will tell you. We have the knowledge that early to bed and early to rise is the way to be happy, healthy, wealthy and wise. We were children, you know, and this saying we learnt from the teacher. And very much we were attracted to wealth. We were very poor family, so we wanted, somehow or the other to grab wealth. And as soon as I knew that early to bed and early to rise you can get wealthy, I didn’t worry about healthy or wise. no. wisdom was completely absent. (laughs). Health was all right, so we didn’t worry about it. But I thought wealthy, wealthy is quite good. If I can get wealthy I will immediately go to sevanam class. So we used to sleep early. And we used to wake up early for study, you know, at 4 o’clock, because we have to learn Sanskrit. So it was very difficult, grammar was very difficult and very dry, but we have to do it. So for one month two months I went to bed early and woke up and there was no wealth at all. So then I thought this is useless. so again I came back to my routine. (laughs), because I did not know that if I continue the penance, then definitely the wealth is bound to come. Because you will study all right, you will be intelligent, you will get nice job, or you will do your business or your health will improve, and if at all you go to somebody, they will like you “You look very nice” they will give you the job. People don’t want to employ the monkey. They want nice person. I didn’t understand that but I said in two months I didn’t get any wealth so when am I going to get? So I just left it, you know. this is our knowledge. But we did not have austerity. Continuous austerity will be required. We know that early to bed and early to rise is best for devotional service. And that is why our mangalarati is at 4:30 or 5 o’clock or whatever it is. And daily we perform it. But this knowledge we have, but unless you perform it the penance is required. So the Lord has put this condition that you must have knowledge and you must have tapasyā, you must have knowledge and you must have realized knowledge. jñānam and vijñāna, otherwise if you don’t put in that knowledge into practise then your knowledge is a mental speculation. It doesn’t have any meaning at all. And that is why the Lord uses these two words. Jñāna is also required and tapasyā is also required. It is very easy to understand. So now 3 conditions we have, one is without rāga, bhaya and krodhā, second is complete shelter in Me, man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ bahavo many people have this knowledge and this tapasyā and if you do that then we have completed 3 lines. Isn’t it? 3 conditions are ready. (Maharaj asks one devotee to say by heart and tells easily.) Very nice devotee, I thought I will catch him. (Everyone laughs). Haribol. (Maharaj makes everyone say by heart.)

(To a mataji who could not say) Mataji, two months now without. Two months, then only you will remember, lock kitchen, forget about it. You also. (Maharaj laughs loudly with everyone else). Haribol Mataji.

Yes, you, you ran away then. (When he said well) I don’t know nam ki jai. (All laugh) Bhatia. Bhatia. I will call him Muralidhar. Nice, Muralidhar you know. murali, yes Muralidhar, it is best name. anyway, these are the 3 lines. And the result, is described in the fourth line. And this is He has given everything. And pūtā bahavo jñāna-tapasā pūtāthey are purified, those who are knowledgable and those who have done penance, they are purified. And the last line is mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ, mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ, they attain My transcendental love. so please repeat now with me.

vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā
man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ
bahavo jñāna-tapasā pūtā
mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ

Because of knowledge and tapasyā they are purified, pavitra that is pūtā and without tapasyā and without knowledge you can never be purified. You must have knowledge that we have to get up early in the morning, in order to have nice devotional service. And that knowledge is not enough until and unless you get up. And to get up at 4 o’clock is tapasyā, is tapasyā and if you have knowledge and tapasyā then pūtā you are completely purified. As soon as you get up you clean yourself, put on nice simple clothes and come in front of the Lord. Just by this activity, you are pūtā, you are purified. There is nothing else is needed. This activity is needed and then if you do it, Lord gives you the result mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ, you attain My transcendental love. and this is the way to love the Supreme Absolute Truth. And this is the way, there is no alternative. This is the way, there is no alternative. Don’t waste your time to find out the alternative. That is why Prabhupad agreed to so many things, but he did not change the mangalarati time. He forced us to get up at 4 o’clock. Because he knew this is the process and there is no alternative to it. It is clear now? Yes, Mike you can try? (Maharaj makes every one say the verse by heart). Very good this is the way to learn the verse. It is only 10 – 15 minutes and you have learnt one verse. So if you continue for one hour, you can learn 4 verses. And if you finish off after one hour, even then in a year you will learn 1400 verses. And in Bhagavad Gita there are only 700 verses. So you will require 6 months. We had been to Zurich in Switzerland two months back and the group was like this one, class in Srimad Bhagavatam. And I just asked “do you know any verses in Bhagavad Gita?” and no body raised the hand. One meek boy he raised the hand. He is Swiss boy. He is not Indian, not Indian origin even. And I thought he may know a few verses here and there. So I asked him “which verse you know?” he said “700”. And really he knew 700 verses. I told him to recite 11th chapter which is longest and difficult, and to my surprise he recited the whole chapter. Then I asked him how long he took to learn Bhagavad Gita. He said in 12 months I have learnt the verses and in next 12 months I learnt the translation. And the whole ocean of knowledge is squeezed into his brain. Any verse you take he just writes the verse and translation in English. Maybe it will take some time for him to understand, he is too young at the moment, hardly 22, but slowly because the verses are with him, some time, automatically it will come, be explained to him. So this is how, this is the best time and the best use, to understand the verses. And now this verse, what time we have to finish? Finished? by now? Any moment? My labour is wasted. You gained, I didn’t gain anything. No. we will continue for 5 minutes. This verse I chose because this verse shows that this knowledge is meant for everybody. And bahavo jñāna-tapasā pūtā, many people in the past always by knowledge and tapasya they are purified. So don’t be under the impression that this is only good for the Hare Krishnas or the Hindu religion, or Muslims or Christians. No these are sect. dharma is one. Fire dharma is dharma of fire is where there is fire there will definitely be heat and light. Fire will not tell “I am in Muslim house so I won’t give heat and light.” No whether it is Muslim, Christian, Hindu or any other sect fire dharma is it will give light and heat. Krishna’s dharma is to purify you. And these are the conditions. Those people who fulfill this condition they will be purified and they attain the love of God. Then sect doesn’t matter. That is why Prabhupad shouted this is not sectarian knowledge. it is good for every living entity, good for every living entity. And don’t think that because you are occupied in your occupations, whatever job you are doing, or whatever you are doing, or because you are married, you cannot understand this and only I can understand because I am Indian. No. it is meant equally for everybody. These ashrams and varnas they don’t matter at all. There is very nice verse from Srimad Bhagavatam describing this you know. it says (SB 5.1.17),

bhayaṁ pramattasya vaneṣv api syād
 yataḥ sa āste saha-ṣaṭ-sapatnaḥ
jitendriyasyātma-rater budhasya
gṛhāśramaḥ kiṁ nu karoty avadyam

Even if he goes from forest to forest, one who is not self-controlled must always fear material bondage because he is living with six co-wives — the mind and knowledge-acquiring senses. Even householder life, however, cannot harm a self-satisfied, learned man who has conquered his senses.”

Beautiful verse for gṛhāśram, gṛhasthāśram. You are all gṛhāsthas, in a amarried life and you are working. You are maintaining your family and carrying on the show. This is a drama we are in. suppose we have to perform the drama, then we are not Ravan, but I may accept the part of Ravan. And if I did accept that, for that period I forget myself and I have to believe I am Ravan. And I have to act as Ravan. Because unless I believe myself and unless I act, the drama will not be successful. So we may like it or not, we have accepted the show, of being gṛhāstha. And we are already in it. So we have to carry on this part, without worrying anything else. But side by side we have to remember this. And He says, there is a very nice story. We will finish in a few minutes. Excuse me. There was one man you know. bhayaṁ pramattasya vaneṣv api syād, first line of this verse. He was very afraid of this gṛhāśram. My wife nags and every time I have to bring money and he hates and what to do. And he could not understand anything you know. so he thought it is better to go to the forest. Forget about this. He ran to the forest you know. went to the forest and sat in meditation like this. So people thought new yogi has come and people were attracted to him. You also can be yogi you know. there are plenty of forest here. Just disappear, and mataji will say “where he has gone?” (laughs) and Mike goes and sits in the forest. So people are attracted, a new yogi is here, with nice beard and jada and everything. So people were naturally coming to him. “Oh Guru Maharaj, ….” “You become my disciple” so people became disciples. Then we can order you know, do this, do this, do this. So people tried to take him as a Guru. So now few disciples were around. So daily they were coming, Guru was sitting in meditation and everything was going very all right. But there was one disciple, he was worried about the guru. So he said, “Maharaj everything is all right?” He said, “Everything is all right, but there is one trouble” “What is it Maharaj?” he said “I have my wheat flour you know to prepare chapathi. So I keep this flour and this mouse came, these mice came and eat my flour. I don’t have anything to make chapathis now. So that is the trouble.” “Maharaj don’t worry” he said “tomorrow we will give you guru dakshina and we will have remedy for these mice you know.” so next day the disciples came they gave him cat as guru dakshina. The guru was surprised “why?” “This is the medicine for your mice. You keep the cat and the mice will run away.” So guru was very pleased. “At least I will have my flour and eat.” So he kept the cat and the cat drove the mice and there were no mice at all. But in the evening cat began to cry. It wanted milk. So somewhere the milk had got to be. It was vegetarian. (laughter) it was Indian cat not Penang cat. So some how or other we must have milk. Otherwise the cat will die and the mice will trouble. So the guru had to go to the nearest village, beg some lakshmi and buy the milk and come back. So the next day the disciples came again. they asked, “how is your flour?” “flour is okay” he says, “but I am wasting 3 hours nearly from my meditation, because I have to go to the village beg for lakshmi and buy milk and bring. And then give milk to the cat, then only the cat can eat the rat. So it is trouble” he said. “Don’t worry Maharaj, tomorrow we will again bring something as guru dakshina. Next day came. Guru was waiting. Because cat was a troublesome animal. So next day the disciples brought the cow as guru dakshina. “See guru, this is the cow, milk the cow, give to the cat and cat will eat the rat.” Guru was very pleased. But then cow dung to be cleared, some grass is to be brought, for cow to eat. Guru did not think about it. The cow was “baa baa baa” guru could not meditate. So he said what is wrong. She wants to eat something. So again the fellow had to run to the market, beg more money because milk was very easy, at least he could get for 1$ but grass was 5$. So he had to move about more shops or houses and beg, and the whole day was gone. He has to bring the grass, then clean the cow dung, and then milk the cow and feed the cat. “God what have I done?” and the disciples came “Maharaj how are you?” “I don’t have time to talk to you. No meditation now. My meditation is cow dung.”(Every one laughs loudly) “Maharaj what happened?” “Whole time I am busy,” he says, “this is a very terrible thing you have given me.” “Maharaj don’t worry” “What you say don’t worry. I have to clean this.” “No, no, you marry. Get married.” So the guru had to get married then. Then the wife will take care of the cow and guru will meditate. The point is very nicely discussed in this verse. bhayaṁ pramattasya vaneṣv api syād, because of fear that man had ran away, but his senses were with him, uncontrolled senses. So in forest also he tried to have another sansar. He left one sansar and wherever you go you start another one. Because your senses are not under control. Frankly speaking if your senses are under control, with the help of the sastras, jitendriyasyā  jita means win and indriya means senses. If your senses are under control then gṛhāśramaḥ kiṁ nu karoty avadyam, then what is wrong in the house, there is nothing wrong in the house. You are quite alright with the controlled senses. This is the gist of the whole discussion. So 2 points are clear with us, that this is not a sectarian knowledge, it is equally powerful for everybody. And at the same time grhashram cannot harm you in self realization. The only thing needed is controlled senses. And that can only be done with the help of the scriptures, guru and the devotional service. Hare Krishna…..

Have you remembered the verse. Please repeat it after going home also and then you will be fixed. And you will remember that jnan and tapa are required, always Krishna’s shelter is required and attachment, fear and krodha you have to completely get rid of. Hare Krishna. All glories to Srila Prabhupad.

Srila prabhupad ki jai.
