No Counteraction is the Best Counteraction - Part 4

Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled, "No Counteraction is the Best Counteraction" which is transcription of the nectarean class given by our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on Srimad Bhagavatam verse 7.6.2 in Sri Sri Radha NeelMadhav dham, Rajkot. In the previous offering we heard from Maharaj that

1. No Retaliation is Best Retaliation.
2. No Counteraction Saves Time.
3. Obedience attracts Krishna.

Now we shall hear further.

3. Obedience attracts Krishna
Gurudev: So this way we should try to follow something in life. And He (Krishna) will be very kind to us. If you follow, definitely He will be kind, knowing that you are obedient son. He will never, never punish you. He will really be with you always. And if He is with you, then whatever material situation may come to you, He's there definitely with you.  All the cow herd boys, they were advised by Kṛṣṇa to worship Govardhan hill. So they just obeyed Him. And it was very nice. Kṛṣṇa was attracted to them, Kṛṣṇa was ready to do anything for them. And that Indra was very angry. So they had to suffer the inundation, inundation of the water, so much water. Kṛṣṇa, for them, stood there for seven days, on His last finger of His hand. He lifted the Govardhan Hill and He stood there for them. Why? Because they obeyed Him. If they didn't obey, then He would not have protected them that much. For them how much He did! Whole hill He carried for seven days. Indra was not able to do anything.
4. Be Ready for Everything: This is how please, try to understand these things. (Gurudev refers to Narsi Mehta's bhajan on how Lord lifted Govardhan hill) Please this is the way to understand the intricacies. And even now, those values are correct. But the times are changing and as it is Kaliyuga is surcharged with the faithlessness. So we have to be careful to be faithful. Because the atmosphere is surcharged with faithlessness. So we go anti. Anti-faithlessness means you have unflinching faith. If you cultivate these things, then naturally you will be happy. And that's why the devotees don't complain about anything. Today we have very good situation, but tomorrow we don't know. Rama also did not know that tomorrow morning what is going to happen. Rama, Rama did not complain. Otherwise I would have been there, I would not have cared for Kaikeyi or Dasarath. I will sit on the throne. And people were favourable. But Rama did not do that. And He thought that, "it's alright, very good." He went away. So instead of nice clothes of a king, He had to put on the valkal clothes and go to the forest. To that extent, He tolerated. And this are not the only incident. It's to teach us in any condition we should be ready.

Krishna willing we shall continue to hear more nectar from Maharaj in the subsequent offering.

Hare Krishna.
Thank you very much.
Yours in service of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva,
Krishna Rati devi dasi
