No Counteraction is the Best Counteraction - Part 5

Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled, "No Counteraction is the Best Counteraction" which is transcription of the nectarean class given by our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on Srimad Bhagavatam verse 7.6.2 in Sri Sri Radha NeelMadhav dham, Rajkot. In the previous offering we heard from Maharaj that

1. No Retaliation is Best Retaliation.
2. No Counteraction Saves Time.
3. Obedience attracts Krishna.
4. Be Ready for Everything

Now we shall hear further.

5. Be Thankful to Krishna:
Gurudev: Within a night, the situation may change. Even this second, the situation might change. You know Government is in control. Tomorrow if government decides that this whole area should be developed then everything we have, will be demolished here within a day. We will have to place our feet somewhere and build our things again. Just one decision of the government and you know that for them, country comes first, not the temples. So the whole area we would have to vacate. Don't know really what is happening. (not clear)

Devotee: Once government took over some lands saying they need it for military.

Gurudev: Ya. Even it is happening here. Now if they want to have the whole area for miltary, who can stop? So our whole thing is gone. They don't know that we have spent crores of rupees or whatever. Anything, anytime anything can happen. (Gurudev speaks a proverb in Gujarati that starts with words ghadi ghadi and then explains it) that one moment, if it passes on without any disturbance, you think that Mahalakshmi has come. For days together you are having good time. Why can't you thank Kṛṣṇa for that? And why are you hankering for more and more of whatever? Please stop this ignorance.

ghadi, ghadi means one moment. If one moment passes good, you should thank Kṛṣṇa that You have given me Mahalakshmi. (Maharaj jokes about a devotee by saying that he wants some money.) Our unsatisfied mind is the main reason. The thing is the lid of satisfaction must be there. Otherwise we are mad. santoa amrt trptānām,  yat sukham śānta cetasām -  that whatever is given by Kṛṣṇa to me, I am the Lord of it, I am very satisfied. It is very nice sloka you know. santoa amrt trptānām,  yat sukham, if you have nectarean santoa, satisfaction with you, then yat sukham, that is real happiness. śānta cetasām, your mind will be completely peaceful.

Krishna willing we shall continue to hear more nectar from Maharaj in the subsequent offering.

Hare Krishna.
Thank you very much.
Yours in service of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva,
Krishna Rati devi dasi
