Glorify Krishna - Part 5

Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudev.

This is in continuation of the transcription of the nectarean class given by our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on Srimad Bhagavatam verse 10.1.4. In the previous offering we heard from Maharaj

1. Practise before you preach.
2. Be sincere worker and not shirker.
3. Krishna is the source of maintenance.
4. Give up grabbing tendency

Now we shall hear further.

5. Glorify Krishna:
Gurudev: The thing is, this is the clue you know that lust is already there and somehow or the other we have to get rid of it (Gurudev laughs). So I am asking you that do you think you do it?

Devotee: Kṛṣṇa consciousness Maharaj

Gurudev: ya! How? How? Kṛṣṇa consciousness is a gross word, but what? Are you ready? 

Devotee:  Strictly following regulative principles in devotional service

Gurudev: principles 

Devotee: to engage in Kṛṣṇa's service Maharaj 

Gurudev: In lust, there is no satisfaction. 

Devotee: Transform the lust 

Gurudev: Ah! Transform the lust to the spiritual 

Devotee: No

Gurudev: No, no

Devotee: Kṛṣṇa says yat karosi 

Gurudev:  Please you take

Devotee: You have to think of the last day (Gurudev laughs.)

Devotee:  Yes Maharaj. sthāne sthitāḥ 

Gurudev:  (laughter) Ya! The thing, the remedy is given in this line. nivṛtta-tarṣair, you have to retire from your lusty attachment for the material activities. upagīyamānād, you sing the glories of Kṛṣṇa. (Gurudev laughs)

Devotee:  Ya.

Gurudev: It's so easy. In same verse, He says what not to do and same verse He gives 

Devotee: what to do

Gurudev: The same line, next word is the reply.  but you don't see. (Gurudev laughs).  And you're concocting (Gurudev laughs)  Ah! See this, next line you know upagīya, see the next word upagīyamānād. 

Krishna willing we shall continue to hear more nectar from Maharaj in the subsequent offering.
