Srila Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj Vyasa Puja 2016 - Part 17

Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudeva.

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled "Srila Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj Vyasa Puja 2016", wherein we were hearing some of the glorification of Maharaj, which were shared by the devotees in Sri Sri Radha Neel Madhav Dham, Rajkot on the auspicious occasion of his Vyasa Puja. Now we shall hear further.

HG Kalacakra Krishna Prabhuji: Just like we need Radharani's mercy to enter into Vrindavan, similarly we need Maharaj's mercy to enter Sri Sri Radha Neelmadhav Dham. When we realize the scarcity of a commodity, we will realize its value and utilize every bit of it very carefully." And Maharaj's permission, personally I feel we can get if we at least do these three things. I want to do that personally for myself just to please Maharaj.

First thing I want to do is introspect - try to introspect what all things I can improve upon, any mistakes in me which I can improve and correct. I need to introspect and as Devakinandan Prabhuji was mentioning yesterday, how in order to introspect we should be with the sound vibration of Bhagavatam all the time and hear Maharaj's lectures.

Second thing I should try to make sure that I intensify my vows in devotional service, which I have committed to Maharaj and lack of fulfilling those vows is making me go away from Maharaj. And it is very painful.

Third thing, which is the most important thing I feel which will please Maharaj is that whatever differences we have with anyone, especially within our God siblings, no matter what, we should try to reconcile. I don't think it is prudent for me now to say that I will wait for the time because I may die before that or the other person may die before that and definitely Maharaj will not be pleased if I come into this compound and I can't smile at some person. I don't know, I am just speaking my heart. Maharaj always said, "Devotee means smiling." It is important that we give up all the concoctions and count the number of Vyasa Pujas left and not count the number of years. Then it will make more sense. If it is only three or four Vyasa Pujas that I am going to attend, just like if it is only 3-4 days I am going to live, then what I will do? If I think like that it will help.

Krishna willing, we shall continue to hear further glories of Maharaj in the subsequent offering.
