The story of a Sadhu:
Once upon a time, a sadhu was climbing a mountain. On the way being tired he thought 'Hey Krishna !If only I had a horse to climb this mountain". And soon a passerby donated him a horse. The sadhu was very happy that his wish was fulfilled. He mounted on  the horse happily and climbed the mountain. After a while the horse stopped and denied to move further. The sadhu now got down only to see that its a mare and not a horse, moreover she delivered a baby horse. And due to her natural love for her baby she refused to leave the baby. Sadhu got an idea, he  lifted the baby horse on his shoulder, and made the mare walk. After sometime due to the burden on his shoulders he realised "Hey I was better off earlier, at least I did not have to carry any burden'
Shrimad Bhagavatam says:[4.29.33]

yathā hi puruṣo bhāraṁ śirasā gurum udvahan
taṁ skandhena sa ādhatte tathā sarvāḥ pratikriyāḥ

"A man may carry a burden on his head and when he feels it to be too heavy, he sometimes gives relief to his head by putting the burden on his shoulders. In this way he tries to relieve himself from the burden. However, whatever process he devises to counteract the burden ,does nothing more than put the same burden from one place to another."

Therefore ,in this way we increase our facilities[burden] in order to enjoy life but end up in becoming the slaves of the facilities.
