Once Sage Narada was travelling around the globe and in one place he saw a great yogi meditating on Lord Vishnu. It was a terrible summer (hotter than chennai) and he was meditating in the midst of fire. His body was thin because of the severe austerities he undertook.

O my Lord, Your devotees can see You through the ears by the process of bonafide hearing, and thus their hearts become cleansed, and You take Your seat there. You are so merciful to Your devotees that You manifest Yourself in the particular eternal form of transcendence in which they always think of you.'

Apart from this (devotional service), anything you take is only a temporary shelter. Everything else is diversion. You know, in the roads we have diversions. These diversions are only temporary paths until the main road is constructed. After that they are removed. They are not permanent.

Srila Rupa Goswami has given much stress to Sri Radha kunda because of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's desire to find it. Who then would give up Radha kunda and try to reside elsewhere ? No person with transcendental intelligence would do so

Let the sharp moralist accuse me of being illusioned; I do not mind. Experts in Vedic activities may slander me as being misled, friends and relatives may call me frustrated, my brothers may call me a fool, the wealthy mammonites may point me out as mad, and the learned philosophers may assert that I am much too proud; still my mind does not budge an inch from the determination to serve the lotus feet of Govinda, though I be unable to do it.

All that I say cannot describe the full glory of the blessed occasion when the temple, looking resplendent when completed, with ornate carvings, exquisite decorations, and a lofty dome, opened its doors to reveal Their Lordships Sri Sri Rukmini Dwarakadhish in all Their glory to the world.
