The moon only appears to our eyes to be changing in size but by itself it is not changing in shape or size. Someone sitting inside the moon will not feel any increase or decrease of its size. What we are seeing with our naked eyes is only the gross object.

Soul is the only constant element within our body. Everything else is changing at every moment. So in effect, the soul is constantly moving from one body to another even if it looks like it is staying apparently in the same person's body.

Every devotee should practice in order to chant some mantra perfectly so that even though he may be imperfect in spiritual consciousness in this life, in his next life he will not forget Krishna consciousness, even if he becomes an animal

Some people may argue, "The Lord was only seven years old during this lila. Also lifting a mountain is not an ordinary task for any human being". But devotees like Hanuman have lifted Sanjeevani mountain and even demons like Ravana lifted the mountain Kailasha without being the Supreme Lord.

Dhrtarashtra was always portrayed as a blind man spiritually and materially. We condemn him as being very selfish and very much attached to his sons and kingdom. But such a person being in such a state of mind being overly attached to family and sons has realized in one second the spiritual knowledge from Vidura and take it to the heart and at once quits the house of Pandavas without notice.

When the Pandavas along with Lord Krishna and other sages came to meet Bhishmadev in the battle-field  of Kurukshetra, he received and welcomed everyone properly, although he was lying on the death-bed. Important point to remember is that he was not lying in bed of roses - but was lying on bed of arrows. We are so fallen that even when we are in healthy and comfortable position, we fail to welcome people properly.

In material activities everyone is envious of others. The material world is full of envious people. Even within one’s inner circle there is lot of backbiting. This is compared to the sound vibration of a cricket in the village or forest.

What we are doing for Maharaj is not important. What is important is whether we are ready to hear and obey Maharaj. If we try to suggest so many things to our Guru, with our own intelligence and logical arguments, we are destroyed. We want things our way.

So sooner the better to be with Srimad Bhagavatam.  Sincerity is required. Do not waste even a single second. Your time should be squeezed for these things. Else unknowingly you lose the time. Use it or lose it.

Ekalavya was a Nishaada prince and he wanted to become a great archer like Arjuna. So he approached Dronacarya who refused to accept him as his disciple on the ground that he was a Nishada.

When you crumple them or throw them down, you are violent. Taking care of all the items of Krishna is a reflection of the purity and cleanliness of the mind.

Once there was a devotee and a dog came to bite him. At that point of time, Krishna was having prasadam in Dwaraka. He immediately stopped eating and stood up. And then again, immediately He sat down and started eating again.

What is devotional service? It is seeing the hand of Lord Krishna in everything. We understand this. But we don't realise.

One can get liberation by seriously discharging devotional service unto Me and thereby hearing for a long time about Me or from Me. By thus executing one’s prescribed duties, there will be no reaction, and one will be freed from the contamination of matter

"If you want to be self-sufficient you must chant 16 rounds sincerely!". At another point he said, "We can see the quality of your chanting by seeing your face. Because chanting is anti-material activity and when you give the anti-material activity to the material body, the material body gets spiritualized and the joy will reflect on your face.

We must understand the real meaning for renunciation. We should not simply neglect the family and walk-out. Once there was a fake sage, who in the name of renunciation, left his family and stayed in an ashram in the forest. He also had few disciples who visited him once in a while.

We have forgotten simplicity. We have made so many etiquettes in the name of devotional service and complicated it.  Taking bath in cold water is best. But we want hot-water and use electric geysers for the same. In my childhood days we used to have copper-boilers.

Even small children easily recognise the potency of Anti-material nature. Here in our Shree Prahlad International School, we have little girl by name Manasi. Her father got transferred to Jamnagar this year and so the whole family shifted to Jamnagar wherein she was put into another school.

The phrase "yogah karmasu kaushalam"  means Krishna consciousness is the art of all work.  Any activity which is separate from Krishna is maya. People praise maya  very much. Once Krishna and Narada Muni were walking on the banks of Yamuna.

Krishna is sarva lokaika naath. He is the master of all the universes. Such a big universe - and there are so many universes like this and He is the naath - the owner as well as the controller of all these universes. Yet, He is "shaanthaakar"

See what you did to make the water clean? You let it be.... and the mud settled down on its own - and you got clear water. Your mind is also like that! When it is disturbed, just let it be. Give it a little time. It will settle down on its own. You don't have to put in any effort to calm it down. It will happen. It is effortless.
