Oh King! Give me a blank wall in your palace and let me paint a picture on it. It will be more beautiful than anything you have ever seen before. I promise that you shall not be disappointed.
In Krishna's creations there are so many variegations and so we can see that no two living entities are alike. Each one have their own unique qualities as per their previous karma and Krishna's wish
In Krishna consciousness, the holy name of the Lord is what we learn from the beginning of our spiritual life (either by hearing devotees doing chanting or participating in kirtan etc).
Few days ago a senior devotee told a very instructive point that everyday we should persistently pray to Lord sincerely, "Please use me in Your service."

: Unless you have uttama bhakti, it is very difficult to pursue any other thing. And if you pursue any other thing then our goal of existence is polluted. It is polluted
"Wealth, lands, farms, cattle, spouse will not accompany us in our final journey. Friends and relatives will accompany us only till the grave. Body will be with us only till funeral pyre. Whatever you have heard or remembered about Krishna will accompany you. Otherwise nothing accompanies us."
In the last offering we saw Maharaj explain the importance of lovingly reciting the verses. Here we see how the Bhagavatam verses are practically very valuable to us.
Few months ago, we went to Jagannath Puri. There we happened to see couple of people in the temple who were physically blind. Looking at them, I was simply amazed by their eagerness and sincere devotion with which they have come to the temple inspite of this difficulty

3. The attitude of service that never slackens
4. The attitude of being mature and complete in service
5. There is no fatigue in transcendental service
6. Intense and intact remembrance of Krishna makes us pacified and purified

We must adopt the path of renunciation to achieve self realization. For our own spiritual progress, we should sincerely endeavour to give up our attachments to material pleasures.
When a fruit is not ripe, it will not taste nice. Mature service means the service that Uddhava did. Despite the breaking down of the body, his mood for service increases more with the progress of age.
"Uddhava thus served the Lord continually from childhood, and in his old age that attitude of service never slackened. As soon as he was asked about the message of the Lord, he at once remembered all about Him."

In the last offering on this topic we saw how Hiranyakashipu was considering Lord Vishnu and His servants as his deadly enemies and how beautifully Prahlad Maharaj pointed our that other than our uncontrolled and misguided mind there is no enemy in this entire universe.
Many a times we perform devotional service for show and we think that we are deceiving others. But reality is we are deceiving our ownselves by that action and loss is only for us as we would simply have to continue with the painful cycle of birth and death again and again by our sinful actions
About a year ago on 12th Feb 2011, H G Devakinandan prabhu gave a class in the residence of H G Vaishnava seva prabhu in Rajkot. This was a class on BG 1.45-46 and Prabhuji shared with us a recollection of the original class given by our spiritual master H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj several years ago in Dwaraka on this verse.

Today is the auspicious day of appearance of Lord Nrisimhadeva. Lord Nrisimhadeva appeared only to keep the words of His beloved devotee Prahlad Maharaj. Otherwise He has already protected Prahlad in number of occasions from his father's attempt to kill him
