That topmost devotee of the Lord will have expanded intelligence and expanded influence and will be the greatest of the great souls. Due to matured devotional service, he will certainly be situated in transcendental ecstasy and will enter the spiritual sky after quitting this material world
He was always ready to leave the place and devote himself completely to the transcendental loving service of the Lord. Now he got the opportunity by the grace of Duryodhana, and instead of being sorry at the strong words of insult, he thanked him from within because it gave him the chance to live alone in a holy place and fully engage in the devotional service of the Lord."
O Supreme Self, please give us, who are created in the beginning from the mahat-tattva, the total cosmic energy, Your kind directions on how we shall act. Kindly award us Your perfect knowledge and potency so that we can render You service in the different departments of subsequent creation
whether one is a demigod or a demon, a man or a creature other than man, such as a beast or bird, everyone should worship Lord Ramachandra, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who appears on this earth just like a human being. There is no need of great austerities or penances to worship the Lord, for He accepts even a small service offered by His devotee. Thus He is satisfied, and as soon as He is satisfied, the devotee is successful. Indeed, Lord Sri Ramachandra brought all the devotees of Ayodhya back home, back to Godhead [Vaikunta]."
One should definitely know that all material ingredients, activities, time and modes, and the living entities who are meant to enjoy them all, exist by His mercy only, and as soon as He does not care for them, everything becomes nonexistent.
Nothing remains unachieved when the Supreme Personality of Godhead is pleased with someone. By transcendental achievement one understands everything else to be insignificant. One who engages in transcendental loving service is elevated to the highest perfectional stage by the Lord Himself, who is seated in everyone's heart.
"O My sons, you should accept a highly elevated paramahamsa, a spiritually advanced spiritual master. In this way, you should place your faith and love in Me, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You should detest sense gratification and tolerate the duality of pleasure and pain, which are like the seasonal changes of summer and winter. Try to realize the miserable condition of living entities, who are miserable even in the higher planetary systems. Philosophically inquire about the truth. Then undergo all kinds of austerities and penances for the sake of devotional service. Give up the endeavor for sense enjoyment and engage in the service of the Lord."
The service attitude of the devotee gradually increases and never becomes slackened. Generally, in old age a person is allowed retirement from mundane service. But in the transcendental service of the Lord there is no retirement at all; on the contrary, the service attitude increases more and more with the progress of age. In the transcendental service there is no satiation, and therefore there is no retirement.
A wife must understand her husband in such a way that without speaking, she understands what her husband is thinking. Similarly a disciple must understand the spiritual master in such a way that without speaking, he or she understands what the spiritual master wants.
Srila Prabhupada writes in is purport to Srimad Bhagavad Gita verse 3.14, "The material world is full of contamination, and one who is immunized by accepting prasadam of the Lord (food offered to Vishnu) is saved from the attack, whereas one who does not do so becomes subjected to contamination."
Self satisfaction and self manifestation go hand in hand. Once we are not disturbed by the difficulties, because we have accepted that this is what Krishna wants and this is what we need, then we will increase our devotional service
Lord Krishna is transcendentally sarcastical in Srimad Bhagavad Gita 11.33. He says, "Arjuna you are savyasaacin – an expert shooter of arrows. But you are My instrument." Then Arjuna might ask, "why are You sending me to the battlefield?" Krishna says, "Because you just become My instrument for your own purification. Because you need to be an instrument. Your devotional service needs you to be an instrument." How simple!!
One cannot avoid the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, not by the strength of severe austerities, an exalted Vedic education, or the power of mystic yoga, physical prowess or intellectual activities. Nor can one use his power of religion, his material opulence or any other means, either by himself or with the help of others, to defy the orders of the Supreme Lord. That is not possible for any living being, from Brahma down to the ant.
If Krishna wants, then our devotional service can meet the required result or destination. If Krishna does not want, then no matter how powerful the process may be, we must understand that we are finite
"Life's desires should never be directed toward sense gratification. One should desire only a healthy life, or self-preservation, since a human being is meant for inquiry about the Absolute Truth. Nothing else should be the goal of one's works."
As stated in Brahma-vaivarta Purana, there is a gradual evolutionary process, but it is not the body that is evolving. All the bodily forms are already there. It is the spiritual entity, or spiritual spark within the body, that is being promoted by the laws of nature under the supervision of superior authority."
sometimes our lives may be opposite, even though we may be in very difficult situations, we should not even in our dreams think that Krishna means ill for us. Maharaj said that Krishna never means bad for us. Ajamila is evidence because if Krishna meant bad, Ajamila would be the best case to prove the point to all of us.
We should help living entities whom we meet to progress spiritually in a genuine manner. But we unknowingly, certainly we try to exploit. That is our nature. Cheating is our nature. I will cheat you. You will cheat me. Then there will never be any genuine thing.
