Anyone who knows that this material body, made of the five gross elements, the sense organs, the working senses and the mind, is simply supervised by the fixed soul is eligible to be liberated from material bondage

Those whose minds are established in sameness and equanimity have already conquered the conditions of birth and death. They are flawless like Brahman, and thus they are already situated in Brahman

Every one of us without exception is looking for good fortune in this material world. We may have our own opinions regarding what our good fortune is, but the authoritative statements are from the scriptures, especially from the amala puranam Srimad Bhagavatam.

Once a person went and said to temple president of Mumbai, "I am collecting money for temple. I know so many big people. I am collecting, I am collecting". And that temple president told him bravely, "Hey, you should not say this. You are not collecting. RadhaRaasbihari is collecting"

Krishna says to Arjuna that, "I have shown you My form because you are devoted to Me."  And devotion means in our limited capacity, how much are we going to devote? We are very tiny.

People in general are all engaged in senseless work. They are systematically unmindful of the real beneficial work, which is the devotional service of the Lord, technically called the arcanaa regulations

Indra wanted his kingdom back and thus begged Lord Krishna for the same. However, now after hearing from great devotee Vrtrasura the futility of material possessions, Indra became sober and repentful

My devotees, having fulfilled their desires by serving Me, do not accept the four kinds of salvation that are easily earned by such service. Why then should they accept any pleasures that are lost in the course of time?

The pure devotee is always within the core of My heart, and I am always in the heart of the pure devotee. My devotees do not know anything else but Me, and I do not know anyone else but them

Since everything is dependent on the supreme will of the Personality of Godhead, one should be equipoised in fame and defamation, victory and defeat, life and death. In their effects, represented as happiness and distress, one should maintain oneself in equilibrium, without anxiety.

From this we should take the lesson that we should never try to insult a Vaishnava. Not only should we not insult a Vaishnava, but we should not insult anyone unnecessarily.

It is mentioned in Padmapurana Uttara-khanda entitled Srimad Bhagavata Mahatmayam, the glories of Srimad Bhagavatam. The process of hearing Srimad Bhagavatam in seven days is called saptaha yajna, which is the means for attaining the love of godhead. May all of us adopt such transcendental sankirtana yajna in our life to please Lord Krishna, who is the ultimate enjoyer of all sacrifices.

As devotees we are in complete illusion that, "I am serving Krishna". You are not serving Krishna. Only by getting up at 4'o clock, He serves you a little bit in the later lives. This is the way to be happy, healthy, wealthy and wise. And in order to be happy, healthy and wise, you have to give up this ahankaar because it is Krishna's will. So please remember this. Unless we don't get puffed up that 'I am doing, I am doing', this ahankaar - this false-ego that, "I am serving", we cannot go near Him.

The great devotee Vrtrasura awakens us from our deep slumber by giving stubborn facts of our life and calling us foolish and senseless in Srimad Bhagavatam

We should never expect anything from anyone and a saintly man can become a thief and a thief can become a saintly man, but our mind is full of expectations and thus we lose all our happiness and peace.

Anyone in the entire world, even down to the candaala, who lives by cooking and eating the flesh of the dog, is immediately purified if he takes bath in hearing through the ear the glorification of My name, fame, etc. Now you have realized Me without doubt; therefore I will not hesitate to lop off My own arm if its conduct is found hostile to you.

The living entities are trying to counteract different miserable conditions pertaining to providence, other living entities or the body and mind. Still, they must remain conditioned by the laws of nature, despite all attempts to counter these laws.

Even though a person who has no assets in pious activities performs some good deed, it will have no result. Thus the weapons of the demons had no tangible effects upon Prahlad Maharaja because he was a devotee undisturbed by material conditions and fully engaged in meditating upon and serving the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is unchangeable, who cannot be realized by the material senses, and who is the soul of the entire universe

My Lord Nrsimhadeva, please, therefore, cease Your anger now that my father, the great demon Hiranyakashipu, has been killed. Since even saintly persons take pleasure in the killing of a scorpion or a snake, all the worlds have achieved great satisfaction because of the death of this demon. Now they are confident of their happiness, and they will always remember Your auspicious incarnation in order to be free from fear.

Since we act under the control of the Supreme according to our karma, no one is independent, from Brahma down to the insignificant ant.

We have left the 10 by 10 room with old furniture and what not. So many worries we have. We have left everything, but still we are running after everything. We are not at ease. As soon as you chant feelingly, you enter into the internal potency of the Lord. These transcendental sound vibration doesn't belong to the external potency. That we have to be very clear.

In Srimad Ramayana we find that Lord Rama consults Sita Mata on important issues and the following verse spoken by the lord stands proof of it. "Certainly all these words were spoken by you due to your kind-heartedness and affection for Me. I am very pleased with you, O Sita, for indeed one does not offer instructions and advice to another without caring for them."

Let me know whether this, which I have planned out after careful consideration, is agreeable to you all, or what shall be done! Even though this is what I would like, may you please think of all possible good alternatives! Impartial considerations that are deliberated well, would only yield the best results!

"O King, O lord of humanity, when a king directly depends upon his associates and follows their instructions, he is happy. Similarly, when his associates offer their gifts and activities to the king and follow his orders, they are also happy

O Indra, no one is guaranteed of being always victorious but the original enjoyer, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Bhagavan. He is the cause of creation, maintenance and annihilation, and He knows everything. Being dependent and being obliged to accept material bodies, belligerent subordinates are sometimes victorious and sometimes defeated

The best way to remember Krishna, is to chant His names. When you chant His names, sometimes the mind will go here and there. But don't worry. The progressive chanting eventually will still the mind. It cannot happen over-night. It is a life-long challenge. But then in life, what else is not a challenge. Everything is a challenge. And especially that which is valuable, becomes more challenge. So if we take with good attitude that, "Yes. Mind will give me trouble. But use intelligence." Intelligence is higher than the mind. Use it by chanting - Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

this is how we can sustain our determination, on the platform of gratitude, on the platform of following the instructions of the spiritual master and finally on the platform of always remembering that our goal of existence, must be to remember Krishna and that Krishna must be the only object of our love.

Don't lie about devotional service. If you are not performing, then admit it. But don't lie. If you lie, help will never come. In saving your face, you kill your soul

Very important advice for all of us. Whenever we want to become angry with a devotee, or upset with someone, always think - "Do you think your getting upset or angry with someone will upset Krishna?" - "Yes". Then don't do it. Our aim is to satisfy Krishna, not to satisfy ourselves. So Dhruva Maharaj comes to his senses again. He thanks Svayambhuva Manu and my Guru Maharaj has written in his notes that, "Dhruva Maharaj was very determined to kill tha Yakshas. There also he was determined. But that determination was misplaced. Determination which is misplaced is of no value. Determination which is placed in the right place, by the instruction of the spiritual master, that is valuable."

The word 'loka sangrahayan' means for instructing the general populace. We can see this in the life of our beloved Gurudeva, H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj. Even at his ripe age and with so much heath problems, Maharaj used to do mangala arati, read Srimad Bhagavatam intensely and chant continuously. By his own example, he showed as that bhakti should not be given up in any stage of life.

One should be more serious about seeking the mercy of the devotee than that of the Lord directly, and by one's doing so (by the good will of the devotee) the natural attraction for the service of the Lord will be revived.
