I will never forsake anyone who comes with a friendly appearance, even if he has lot of faults. Accepting such a person is considered as perfect act by all saintly persons.

    Hare Krishna Prabhujis and Matajis,
Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudev!

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled, "Nectar of Instructions from Nava Yogendras".  In the previous offering, we saw how Sri Havir wonderfully described one of the three categories of devotees namely Uttama adhikari to Maharaja Nimi. Today we will see Havir's description of madhyama adhikari in Srimad Bhagavatam 11.2.46.

when Hanuman returned from Lanka after seeing Mother Sita, Lord Rama told Hanumanji that, "I cannot repay you for the help you have done." And after the war was over Hanumanji only carried the news of victory to Mother Sita and Sita replied, "I cannot repay what you have done." Hanuman very much wondered and said, "You and Lord Rama are exactly speaking in the same way."

This is in conclusion of the previous offerings transcribing the class by HG Devakinandan Prabhuji on Srimad Bhagavatam 4.30.8.In the previous offering, we saw that the real way to be united in diversity is to start by glorifying Krishna. We shall see further.

If two of us do not like the other person, then suddenly these two become the best of friends, because in the material world, if your enemy and my enemy is common, we become the best of friends and we bring the same baggage from the material world into the spiritual world. When that happens, there is no unity in diversity. Then it becomes like the United Nations.

In all activities just depend upon Me and work always under My protection. In such devotional service, be fully conscious of Me. If you become conscious of Me, you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My grace. If, however, you do not work in such consciousness, but act through false ego, not hearing Me, you will be lost.

The first thing is the fact that all the Pracetas could do devotional service together for 10000 years and that is a great achievement. Krishna was very pleased that they were united in their service, even though each and every Pracetas was actually different from the other person. They were all individuals. Their mood was different, their characters were different, thinking was different, and attitude was different.

God never distinguishes his children due to high caste or low caste, rich or poor, educated or uneducated. It is pure love and devotion that distinguishes a 'bhakta' (devotee) from an ordinary man.

After the destruction of the gross body, the subtle body takes the living entity from his present gross body to another. In the subtle body, the mind is predominant, and therefore if one's mind is always absorbed in remembering the activities or the lotus feet of the Lord, he is to be understood to have already changed his present body and become purified. Therefore it is irrefutable that a candala, or any fallen or lowborn person, can become a brahmana simply by the method of bona fide initiation.

Rama did this to show that for a king, subjects and kingdom are more important than his own family and hence both of them have equal responsibility in handling the situation. And he was sure that Sita would have the same thought. So He did not discuss any of this with Mother Sita and explained Her while sending her to forest.

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled "Made for Each Other". We have been meditating on how the divine couple Mother Sita and Lord Rama are perfect match for each other in terms of qualities (anuguna dāmpatyam). We will continue to see how they match in terms of compassion.

O Mother, you are perfect match for the all-compassionate Lord Rama." Lord Rama accepted those who actually surrendered to Him, but mother Sita forgave and accepted those who did not even pray for it, just because they were connected to a pure soul namely Trijata. This shows her great compassion.

When that devotee asked His Divine Grace how to progress or advance in devotional service, His Divine Grace replied in one word as "desire". So one's eagerness or desire to serve Lord and His devotees is the only qualification for making progress.

One who strictly follows religious principles must not neglect to provide all facilities for the complete protection of his wife. There may be some suffering because of this, but one must nevertheless endure it. That is the duty of a faithful husband. By His personal example, Lord Ramacandra demonstrated this duty.

O Ravana! Although you are fit to be burnt into ashes by my power of chastity, I am not reducing you into ashes because I do not have the permission of Lord Rama to burn you. Hence I’m with holding my spiritual power.

One of the matching qualities of Lord Rama and Mother Sita was their physical strength and valour. Lord Rama exhibited His physical strength in many places in His lila like lifting the Vishnu Dhanush (the bow of Lord Vishnu) handed over by Lord Parasurama. Also He demonstrated His physical strength when He kicked the skeleton of a demon killed by Vali. By the mere touch of His lotus feet, the skeleton flew miles away and this convinced the doubtful Sugriva of Lord Rama's prowess.

Your Lordship is the reservoir of all the good qualities of Aryans, people who are advanced. Your character and behavior are always consistent, and You always control Your senses and mind. Acting just like an ordinary human being, You exhibit exemplary character to teach others how to behave. There is a touchstone that can be used to examine the quality of gold, but You are like a touchstone that can verify all good qualities.

A householder should live according to the ideal of Lord Ramacandra, who showed how to be a perfect person.. As Lord Ramacandra is the ideal husband (eka-patni-vrata), mother Sita is the ideal wife. Such a combination makes family life very happy...If the kings, the leaders, and the brahmaṇas, the teachers, would set forth the examples we receive from Vedic literature, the entire world would be heaven; indeed, there would no longer be hellish conditions within this material world.

When husband and wife both take to devotional service of Sri Sita Rama, their faces will become glowing due to spiritual effulgence, then the difference of opinion arising due to difference in complexion between husband and wife will vanish gradually.

In Ramayana we see that the faces of Lord Rama and Mother Sita are compared to the moon. The moon by its cool rays gives a great comfort to people who are scorched by the sun's rays. In the same way, if one has darshan of the face of Lord Rama and Mother Sita, one can feel great relief from the scorching miseries of material existence.

When we are in anguish or mental agony due to material problems, even if we take darshan, the beauty will not appeal to us that much. But we see in the life of Lord Rama, even those who considered Lord Rama as their enemy, appreciated His beauty in their most anguished moments.Tara and Mandodari were very upset and frustrated when their husbands (Vali and Ravana respectively) were killed by Lord Rama. They were crying in suffering and they wanted to accuse Lord Rama. But when they saw Him, they were captivated by His divine beauty and glorified His form and qualities in a way which even great sages did not do.

Lakshmi-devi appears in different forms, corresponding to the forms of Lord Vishnu. When the Lord appears as a demigod, she assumes a demigod-like form, and when He appears in a human-like form, she assumes a human-like form also. As the Lord's transcendental potency, she is not different form Him, and her spiritual forms are all perfect and complete. This is the opinion of the learned transcendentalists.

Where is the dearth of witnesses? The witnesses and the Supreme Lord both exist, and therefore so many living entities are elevated to higher planetary systems or degraded to lower planetary systems, including the hellish planets. There are no discrepancies, for everything is arranged perfectly by the management of the Supreme God.

When Lord Hari appeared as Vamana, the son of Aditi, Lakshmi-devi appeared as Padma, and when the Lord appeared as Parashurama, she appeared as Dharini. When the Lord appeared as Ramacandra, she became Sita-devi, and when He descended in His original form as Lord Krishna, she was Princess Rukmini. In Lord Vishnu's many other incarnations, she always appeared as the Lord's consort.

One who has taken birth in Bharatavarsha should try to attain the eternal supreme Lord with the help of his temporary material body. One can attain the eternal with the help of the temporary. Conditioned souls can utilize their abominable material bodies to achieve a sublime eternal form like that of the Supreme Lord.

Devotional service is the supremely powerful process of self realization and is capable of awarding one the ultimate goal of life, and so what to speak of other, lesser achievements. The scriptures advise that a Vaishnava need not worry about his maintenance, such as food and clothing. The Lord is knowns as Visvambhara, the maintainer of the entire universe, and so how could He neglect His devotees?

One who wants the ultimate benefit in his life must surrender to a guru. The guru must be well versed in the Vedic literature and know its conclusions. And not only must he be well versed in the scripture, but in his life he must have adopted the path of Vedic principles, without deviating in any way.

So for a Vaishnava, because he is under the order of Krsna, he appears somewhere and disappears somewhere because he is order-carrier. He says, "Now go there. Preach Krsna consciousness. Go there." So appearance here, disappearance there.
