By showing mercy to all living entities, being satisfied somehow or other and controlling the senses from sense enjoyment, one can very quickly satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead

This is in continuation of the previous topic, "Desires - To be Purified or Fulfilled" wherein we were meditating on verse 8.16.21 wherein Kashyapa Muni advises Aditi to take to the process of devotional service unto Krishna as the best process.

Srila Rupa Goswami defines pure devotional service as, "anyabhilashita-shunyam", meaning it is free from material desires. We may accept that is the highest goal without any doubt. But what to do with our material desires until we come to that stage?

This is in continuation of the previous offering related to the glorification of our beloved spiritual master H H Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on the auspicious occasion of his Vyasa Pooja on December 25 2015, in Sri Sri RadhaNeelMadhav dham, Rajkot.

By the immense mercy of our beloved Gurudev, we had the opportunity to participate in the Vyasa pooja celebrations of our beloved Gurudev HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on 25th December 2015 in Shri Radha Neelmadhav Dham, Rajkot.

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled, "Devotion without Deviation" wherein we were discussing the life of Bharata Maharaja through the pages of Srimad Bhagavatam. In the previous offering we were meditating on the meeting of King Rahugana and Jada Bharata.

This is in continuation of the previous offering, "Control Your Anger", wherein we were meditating on the sublime instructions given by HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj and His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada on anger.

Even a small issue can easily trigger their mighty rage.

In the previous offerings we were meditating on some of the glorious characters of Jada Bharata. Now we shall see further.

The balloon story explains the necessity of benevolence and compassion for others (jiva daya) in our lives and the proper consciousness with which this is to be done is very wonderfully explained in the pastime of Rantideva in Srimad Bhagavatam.
