In the previous offering, we heard from Maharaj as to how the deity form of the Lord is all spiritual and transcendental. Now we shall hear further.

Man, why should they go to Mecca, if they don’t believe in form? Why should they go to Mecca? Everywhere there is form, they want to have the darshan of the stone?

We are regarded as spiritual fathers. Guru is regarded as spiritual father. So to go to see father, you want have to have appointment?

1000 years and it was the beginning of Kali yuga. And we are already in the Kali yuga, now it should be 2000 years. Except Krishna kirtan, except Bhagavatam, Bhagavad Gita, we waste our time anywhere. 

If you don't take care of the disciples, why should you accept the disciples?

So the shelter is not selfless, then they are bound to misdirect. And selfless shelter, to find out it is very difficult. So we have to depend upon somebody, to tell our things, to get his advice.

Prabhupada was giving example of the collector. Collector is given car, bungalow, so many workers, so much staff, everything, everything there, so much money, high salary, why? Because...

"And suppose you don't have anything, suppose you don't have anything, you have intelligence.  Use your intelligence for Krishna, you have labour, perform seva. That is also renunciation.

Whatever we have, bit of it goes somewhere. A percentage of it must go. Ideally half of it should go. But we will not be able to do. Our greed is there.

When I was a grhastha, people were demanding from me also. I was in London. So I had a bit of money. So they were demanding.

Persons who hear Srimad Bhagavatam regularly and are always taking the matter very seriously will have the Personality of Godhead Sri Krishna manifested in their hearts within a short time.

"Our kaliyuga mind always was doubting. Always was doubting. Blind faith was not there. But this Prabhupad knew this that kaliyuga is reaching ahead. So we people want explanations.

How he knew that we should have to feel about Him. So he gave us daily Bhagavatam class, daily mangala arati. So unknowingly we are feeling. Somebody may turn up for mangala arati one day. But he will never forget.

The thing is, to feel Krishna, we must have some peaceful time. And formerly, when the kings were in charge, so one family was in charge. So they were looking at their each individual, in their territory, should be given freedom, to follow his own version.

Hearing the words of Yamaraj, with great compassion Janak replied, "O Lord, out of pity on these beings, I shall not go to Vaikuntha. Although situated in this place, they are feeling some comfort due to the breezes blowing past my body.

Why have you come here? This is a place for wicked sinners who have caused harm to others. Men like you who perform meritorious deeds do not come to this place. ..

If we get attached to Krishna, what can we do. That is the point here. So she stopped the sunrise. And it was all everywhere dark, people were in trouble. They went to Brahma and complained sun is not rising. What is happening? So then what happened that she didn't want him to die.

Ignore everything except Krishna, that is the way. If you want to have temple life, then you have to tolerate so much. Because always something or the other will be there.

This is in continuation of the transcription of class given by our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj on verse 3.30.2. In previous offering we saw how Maharaj was inspiring devotees to study the scriptures like Gita and Bhagavatam nicely and prepare a nice essay on "Time". 

Grasishnu means devours. That is the main characteristic of time, that time always devours the whole thing, always destroys. So grasishnu word should be remembered.

One thing we forget, that because Garbhodakasayi Vishnu is situated in this planet and the Devatha of this planet is Bhoomi, they are situated in the planet. That's why...

The main function of the time factor which is representative of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is to destroy everything. It's very clear you know.

So, this is the way to get into Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavatam and find out who is dear to Krishna. And then we try to be dear to Krishna. Our aim is Krishna. This passing phase, we are not disturbed at all.

Everything is a passing phase. So sometimes, something comes which is favourable to us, that is also passing phase. It is not going to continue.

By showing mercy to all living entities, being satisfied somehow or other and controlling the senses from sense enjoyment, one can very quickly satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Janardana.

Your eyes are good. So keep it you know. If you don't give in to drugs etc..and if you don't go to idiotic life, then you will preserve your eyes. So please be careful. Wherever you are living in the material world, you can do your activities whatever you like...

Whatever you acquire, you may try to acquire, so many things. But eventually Bhagavan comes and everything becomes flat.
