    Transcendental Beauty

The panoramic beauty of nature, which strikes one with wonder, may be taken as a perverted reflection of the transcendental body of the Lord. One who is therefore attracted by the beauty of the Lord is no longer attracted by the beauty of material nature, although he does not minimize its beauty. In Bhagavad-gītā (2.59) it is described that one who is attracted by param, the Supreme, is no longer attracted by anything inferior

If you don’t have anything atleast don’t forget your tongue anywhere isn’t it. Always tongue with you. Just feelingly you please chant any bhajan, chant any shloka and that is it.  We don’t want anything more. Just add these things to your life.  As it is you may be doing but intensify it.

The words "sat-sevanīyaḥ" and "bhagavat-pradhānaḥ" in the above verse are worth meditating. Srila Prabhupada translates sat-sevanīyaḥ as "worthy to serve the pure devotees" and  bhagavat-pradhānaḥ as chiefly devoted to the Personality of Godhead.

Whatever appears impossible in our mundane vision also becomes possible with appearance of Lord. The city of Rajkot also had acute water scarcity for many years. But as soon as Sri Sri Radha Neel Madhav appeared there in 2003, in order to fulfill the sincere desire of our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj, the drought problem disappeared. Indeed nothing is impossible for the Lord.

We may not hate even the prostitutes if they are devotees of the Lord. Even to date there are many prostitutes in great cities of India who are sincere devotees of the Lord. By tricks of chance one may be obliged to adopt a profession which is not very adorable in society, but that does not hamper one in executing devotional service to the Lord. Devotional service to the Lord is uncheckable in all circumstances

You will be fiery in devotional service. You will be eager. You will be enthusiastic. You will be very earnest in devotional service. And you will have plenty of energy for devotional service. So many E s Eager, Enthusiastic, Earnest, energetic. All these are symptoms of devotional service.

Supposing you have four children, you love all four of them equally. For a father or mother actually everyone is precious. All the children are precious. But they don’t treat them the same. It is different. According to the level of each child’s surrender, you naturally reciprocate with the child.

Maharaj told me that, if you are not getting something and some other devotee is getting something, it only means you don’t need it. Then the real devotee patiently waits for the time when Krishna gives what He believes according to what Krishna wants is sufficient for him. So that is the meaning of equal distribution of mercy. This is one of the most important concepts in Bhagavatam we always mistake. We should be very clear that we should never blame Krishna.

The soul is extremely dear to everyone, and similarly the Supersoul is also dear to everyone. Thus there cannot be any faulty action on the part of the Supersoul. The Lord is always kind to all living entities, irrespective of form and situation, yet He took the side of Indra just like an ordinary friend. This was the subject of Parīkṣit Mahārāja's inquiry.

O learned brāhmaṇas, when Śukadeva Gosvāmī recited Bhāgavatam there [in the presence of Emperor Parīkṣit], I heard him with rapt attention, and thus, by his mercy, I learned the Bhāgavatam from that great and powerful sage. Now I shall try to make you hear the very same thing as I learned it from him and as I have realized it.

Serving Krishna does not mean that we sit idly and say that Krishna will take care of all our business. That is not depending on the Lord; rather it is laziness. Depending on Krishna means to act always in Krishna Consciousness, realizing that Krishna is the Ultimate Controller of all results

The difference between the demigods and ordinary human beings is that the demigods approach authority, whereas the inhabitants of this earth defy authority. If people would only approach the authority, then every adverse condition in this universe could be rectified. Arjuna was also disturbed on the Battlefield of Kurukshetra, but he approached the authority, Krishna, and his problem was solved. The conclusive instruction of this incident is that we may be disturbed by some material condition, but if we approach the authority who can actually explain the matter, then our problem is solved.

Since Parikshit Maharaj was not only a great devotee, but was also the emperor of the whole universe, his body is shelter for the citizens. If devotee has longer life it gives so much benefit to the whole world. But if demons live longer,  more is the trouble for the world.

His name, fame, quality, form, pastimes and entourage are all identical to the Lord, and therefore chanting the glories of the Lord invokes the personal presence of the Lord. Any time or anywhere pure devotees meet and chant the glories of the Lord, the Lord is present without any doubt. It is said by the Lord Himself that He always stays where His pure devotees chant His glories.

I want you to settle first in your job. Until you settle, you please think about yourself. Radha Neelamadhav will take care of Themselves. On the contrary, if you are in need, I would like to repay all that you have given so far, so that you will settle. This is not arrogance my son. This is just humane nature. We should feel other's pain before feeling ours.

We should never put others into difficulty on our account. We should be so sensitive and conscious of other person's difficulties and sufferings that we should not actually live for ourselves, but we should actually live for others. Maharaj said that if we are very aware of our surroundings, and aware of how our words pierce people's hearts, aware of how our actions affect other people, aware of how because of us other people are put into difficulty, then we will understand why Krishna built Dwaraka.

Just like the dictaphone. Stop recording cinema songs, record Krishna-kathā, discussion of Krishna. That is utilization properly. So everything has got utility. When it is used for Krishna, that is proper utility. When it is used for other purpose, that is māyā.

In Srimad Bhagavad Gita 17.15 the Lord declares that regular recitation of scriptures that is svādhyāya is an austerity of speech. (vāk mayam tapam). Thus it is a sacred duty (dharmah) on our part to take advantage of the scriptures. We also owe a debt to the rishis or sages who have given us the scriptures with so much selfless efforts, the only way to repay this debt is to study them daily.

If we want clear vision to see things as they are, we must be wearing proper glasses which are not tinted with any colors. In practical life we see that the same object appears in different ways depending on the mindset and the attitude and the  level of consciousness of the person who sees it.

Duplicity must be avoided. And if you are duplicate it doesn't harm any other people, but it harms your own self. So at any cost duplicity must be avoided. How to avoid duplicity? We should avoid the tendency to grab others' things. That forces us to be duplicate. We want to be one thing inside and outside we are another. Do you follow me? If you don't have the tendency to grab, then you can be sane.
