Nobody wants to perform, but they are forced. So, here Arjuna is perplexed, appears to be perplexed, that how does it happens? What is that impelling force? If we have the idea of that impelling force, then we may take help from that and control our at least working senses.

The pleasure one gives the Lord by addressing Him by such names is many, many times greater than the pleasure He enjoys when He is addressed as the Supreme Father, the Greatest of the Great, Parameshvara, or anything of that nature, which indicate volumes of awe and veneration.

A living entity is so made by the will of the Almighty that he is most happy when placing himself in a condition of absolute dependence

We have explained this to you very jokingly, but it is a very serious matter. Serious things also can be taken lightly, but it is extremely important that one understand these things

See everyone is going to be in this situation. There is no exception. Those living entities who are after Bhagavan, they don’t focus their minds elsewhere. Nowhere. And it’s also not worth focusing elsewhere. 

vācyamāno ’pi na brute. They now say, “Speak baba, speak”.  When he was speaking you said, "Oh shut up." (laughs) Now he can’t speak, then vācyamāno ’pi na brūte. They are saying, "speak, speak." But he can’t speak. (laughter) 

If you don’t understand Kāl then changing life is a big problem. We only know, "Today I am earning, and I am the owner of the house. Things are as per my way. And like this it will continue." No, when Kāl changes, the house which is serving you, the same house will kick you. This is Kāl. This is Kāl. We cannot blame anybody; we cannot blame anybody. This is Kāl. These kicks are from Kāl. 

Every moment you invest in Krishna, you will not become old. And all the cleansing agents will also keep working. All will work. And the day they are not there, you will pass peacefully; you will pass in sleep or somewhere there will be heart attack. Like this invalidity or dirtiness will not increase. This thing we have to remember always. This is the teaching of Bhagavat dharma.

Kalayavan was very surprised. "This one is my enemy and is not fighting with me. Oh, You have a big name. Narad Muni said this and that about You." Krishnaji said, "you keep talking. I am doing my work."

 Kālayavan thought, "He is very attractive. So He must be Krishna. Oh, we have to capture Him." So he ran behind Him. Krishna cannot be captured like this. bhaktyā mām abhijānāti. If there is no bhakti, we cannot catch Krishna like this.

Naradji said, “You go to Mangala Arti and you will be able to see Him”. (laughter) "Because in Mangala aarti time," he told, "He has no garlands and flowers, nothing else, He wears first class night dress." So, He (Krishna) always says, "if you want to see how I am, come for Mangala aarti." Later on, if you come, He is not seen.

You know this Krishna, king of Mathura, He is very proud (laughs). If you defeat Him, you will be winner of everyone.

We have hard labor of Prabhupad in front of us. He remained awake daily from1 am and kept everything ready for us. If we understand the fact that we are going towards destruction, then our mind will not go anywhere. But we forget that we are going towards destruction.

Even in our daily life, so many things come and go in which we have no hand, but we have to suffer or tolerate them without remedial measure. That is the result of time.

O supreme form, we are always servants of Your servants, especially of Nārada Muni. Now give us permission to leave for our home. It is by the grace and mercy of Nārada Muni that we have been able to see You face to face.

Maharaj is always anxious for his disciples and always removes the poison in the form of material contamination from the hearts of his disciples, by his nectar like instructions. 

I know what you would say about our addiction to modern social media. "Where have we got the time for all this rubbish - we cannot lose a second - every second should be used to study Srimad Bhagavatam. If we have no words to glorify Sri Krsna then do not speak."

Maharaj expertly dealt in different ways with different mentalities and always instructed us to flow with the nature of the devotees. Maharaj in his younger days, while washing clothes in the river Godavari would always wash it in the direction of the water flow in the river and not agianst it as it would hurt the river and also the clothes. The same way Maharaj said that, "we should fit with the mentalities of the others understanding their needs and situations and not demand them to fit themselves with us. That way we will  not become dictators.

Even on trains, Maharaj just went on. He was vey brave and those days Saurashtra express from Dwaraka to Mumbai was 21 hours and Maharaj was jovial, read Bhagavatam, spoke to anybody who was there, ate something simple and when he wanted to rest, everybody will clear.

Maharaj had eight brothers and sisters and his father retired early from work and so Maharaj had the responsibility of his own children, sisters and brothers at that time. He was working very hard and he was very fixed in his svadharma, but at the same time, he was eager to do bhakti.

A devotee (like Maharaj) does not wait to be requested to speak about Krishna. Rather, it happens automatically (bhavanti hṛt-karṇa-rasāyanāḥ kathāḥ) due to love for Krishna and compassion for living entities. No one requested Maharaj to give a class, but Maharaj choose to start speaking, even without taking a rest for few minutes or having a glass of water.

If you really love me and want to follow anything from me, never lift your heads from Srimad Bhagavatam.

The journey gets trodden slowly and gradually. The cloth is woven slowly and gradually. To reach the peak of a mountain, we have to climb step by step. Knowledge is attained gradually step by step, Wealth is acquired gradually - all these five things can be attained gradually.

Maharaj says, "By tolerating the sins, you are doing good to others as well as yourself."  This is very true because when we are not tolerant, we counteract and provoke the other person to do more sins.

By speaking pleasing words, all the living entities are satisfied. Therefore always speak sweetly, why are you so poor in your sentences?

Lord is always affectionate to us, and He always tries to get us back home, back to Godhead. But we conditioned souls, do not care for Him and run instead after the illusory bodily connections.

In Krishna consciousness, insanity is not possible at all. That’s why, Krishna consciousness is very much essential for our survival. Krishna consciousness means full surrender to Krishna, obeying 100%.

Our body is temporary, this material world is temporary, so how come the miseries be permanent?

For your preaching, you have to be sincere, you have to be sincere. Without sincerity, preaching will never be successful. 

We have branded that, "I am Vaishanava." But who are real you know? And those who are inquisitive, they are less, and out of those inquisitive, really very seriously trying men, we can just count them on our fingers, out of millions of populations. This is how. yatatām api siddhānāṁ kaścin māṁ vetti tattvataḥ, those who are yatatām, those who are trying, we are very rare. So, be that rare person, and then you will understand the karmabhir daiva-saṁjñitaiḥ

From simplicity we have gone to the complexity and that’s why our karmas are reacting. Just see you use one notebook, and you kill 12 trees somewhere. This is karma. If you are killing trees for your writing, means you have to repay.
