Maharaj always tells in his classes - "Be simple, be simple" and in one of the classes Maharaj was telling, "If you are simple, be more simple."

If we are not organised, then how will it be possible for us to get the knowledge about Krishna? So in everything we should be very organised, right from keeping our homes clean.

Do your work perfectly, then your boss will be pleased. Then you will be able to get spare time to think about Krishna. Do your chanting - 16 rounds very nicely and then we will see

Maharaj told me - "You don't worry about anything. You please continue chanting and everything will be alright."  That day I could not understand, but over the years I could understand that for any problem in life - all we need to do is just continue chanting and that alone is the solution for all problems in life.

When doing the work we should do it so immaculately well, thinking that if we don't do, then company will face a loss. So with great care we should do. When your boss sees such dedicated service, he will be pleased. If your boss is pleased, Krishna is pleased.

Even now Maharaj is coming in the dreams of devotees. Last year I heard that Maharaj had come in the dream of devotee named Appu Prabhuji from Mappedu. In Mappedu the devotees have a kitchen for their preaching centre and Maharaj was chastising in the dream, asking them why their kitchen is in a very dirty condition.

We think that scriptural study, undertstanding them, following them in our life are all different tracks. But Maharaj says that, "Srimad Bhagavatam is teaching us how to live. Please don't see them separately. But whatever scriptures tell, try to apply that in your lives." 

So wherever you go, remember Prabhupad that he wants us to have daily Bhagavatam class. So may not be, in the morning you may not be able to do, (because you have) to work or whatever, but during the day time, whenever you can, please read one paragraph and that will save you, this is svādhyāya. 

Whatever is in our destiny, we definitely get and the less it is, better it is. Minimum requirement must be met, completely peaceful.

The spiritual potency increases as you are satisfied in your own situations, we have to be completely satisfied ourselves in whatever situations we are put in, no blame nothing at all. we are suffering for our activities which we have done

 Those who see the last day of this body on the death bed, they can immediately relish.

Feeling a sense of gratitude - This is very important feeling, a sense of gratitude - this is the quality (that) should be cultivated in our life. Those who feel gratitude they will always win, those who are egoistic they can never win in this world. Force can’t work, because the gratitude feeling always works.

That spiritual rasa, which is relished even in the liberated stage, can be experienced in the literature of the Srimad Bhagavatam due to its being the ripened fruit of all Vedic knowledge. By submissively hearing this transcendental literature, one can attain the full pleasure of his heart’s desire.

And humility must be there, submission to Krishna’s orders must be there. Anytime we should be ready to follow Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavatam, elders. Don’t neglect your elders.

Prabhupada wanted to tell us, that you please stop rascaldom and come to the reality. When are we going to do, the days are running out, anytime you have to go.  Anytime, and that is a fact, and we don’t remember that.

n any form, pride will destroy you. Man, what pride, we don’t have anything really. Such a big body, one mosquito bites and you are on the bed. What is the size of that mosquito? It is very tiny, and it’s bites and ehhe. Ha hu maybe it gets out, it is very easy.

We never remember that we are the most negligent living entity, we don’t remember at all. But I remember that I am very important.

we go straight to Krishna where He smashes our identity. He says, "you are not rich person, you are not learned person, you are not foreigner, you are not this, you are not that, you are not that, you are just My servant. That’s it."

Always we should remember that we are servants. If the servant remembers, he is always without wasting his time, he is always humble. As soon as he becomes proud, he is thrown out of the house. Servant can’t afford to be proud. Kiṅkara, Krishna kiṅkara, we are servant of Krishna. kiṅkara, kim karoti?

In preaching we should make it very clear that the sound representation in Bhagavad-gītā is non-different from Supreme Absolute Truth. What we do that we are reading Bhagavad-gītā we think, but Krishna is somewhere else – it is not correct. Recitation must be there. At least 4 seed verses must be recited loudly, then 12th chapter, 15th chapter. 15th is Krishna Himself, 12th chapter is Bhakti Yoga. These transcendental chants will give them the association of Krishna

Kirtan means remembrance of Krishna. Beats and tune should be consistent. Even if we do the same beat, we should do it consistently. It is not recommended to keep chnaging the tunes frequently. It is very much like our sadhana  - how we keep chanting the same Mahamantra every day. And when done consistently at the same time, everything else becomes consistent

We should not depend upon, and we should not depend on these machines. We must have books. Machines are alright, so far as you cross-reference, otherwise machines you should not depend upon. If you don’t have Bhagavatam, or if you don’t have time to go through, even if you master one small book, that I will really like it, I will really love it.

This Gauranga prabhu, he came to me, and he came to see me in Nasik, and he says, "once you have been to Chowpatty temple and you had told us in the class that if you are not interested in Bhagavatam, the four walls will kill you, and that I followed and that’s where I am now." (laughter) Really, he was very honest to remember that.

Without verse, you should not preach. And only we should give the verses which we are very expert in it, I mean to say, we understand, we have chewed – those verses we should write in one notebook and then prepare nicely. And the verse which you know very well, only should be quoted, not half verses or one word here and one word there.

A grain of practice is much more valuable than tons of impractical knowledge.

We wanted to have money, that’s it. Since we pursuit for money, the misery started, till that time, we were alright. We were quite self-satisfied, we had a small house, children were hearing, and they were getting older, and they were getting educated, everything was alright.

Suffering is going on, and in that suffering period, if we concentrate, hṛd-vāg-vapurbhir, by our speech and by our own existence, if we can serve Krishna, then we are the heir apparent to go back home, back to Godhead. Any type of life, the service of Krishna is a must. So, that’s why devotional service is very important.

We have a roaming sense; Eye particularly is a roaming sense. (laughter) That’s why those people who follow the eyes they are known as Romeo. (laughter) Roaming sense

Outside is all scarcity. Without Krishna it is all scarcity, but with Krishna, we don’t lack anything. Everything is there.

Naam Avatar, we can have anytime. There is no limit for the (appearance). There is no time limit for it. That’s why He has sent His names and the saint like Prabhupada who has established the names on this planet. Our institution is really Sankirtan Yajna.

Without exception, unhappiness is there, anxiety is there, so much of anxiety is there, and they are never free of anxiety. At least if a person is Krishna Conscious, at least some time of the day, he is anxiety free. Maybe in the morning when he is performing puja or whatever, or kirtan or whatever or when he attends some programs, he is anxiety free. So, they taste the anxiety free attitude
