So, the less we have, the more clean we can be. Vyasa Bhagavan was staying by the side of the river, Mandakini and He had a simple hut, so there was nothing more to clean. That’s why he could write all these literatures. Suppose He would have a nice mansion, He would have to employ so many people to clean it and then table and table lamp and this and that.

The necessities of life for the protection and comfort of the body must not be unnecessarily increased.

While Rama ruled the kingdom, the talks of the people centered round Rama, Rama and Rama. The world became Rama's world.

Valmiki was blessed with all this fortune because of his staunch attachment to the name of Lord Rama and his great eagerness in chanting the pastimes of Lord Rama.

O Lord Rama, by the power of Your holy name I have attained the position of a sage like this. Also today I am able to see You directly along with Sita and Lakshmana

Valmiki was liberated from his degraded life by chanting of Rama nama and he became an exalted sage. Actually he was qualified to go back to the spiritual world. But it did not happen immediately because he was chosen by the Lord Rama to write Ramayana.

Even if one is physically unfit, classified lower than others, devoid of material qualifications or not at all elevated in terms of pious activities, the chanting of the holy name is beneficial.

When a person is called by his name, he comes forward or presents himself in front of the caller. Similarly, by the use of mantra of Lord Rama, or repeating it while doing Japa, the devotee or the spiritual seeker is able to attract the attention of Lord Rama.

We had fallen into abominable lives as meat-eaters, drunkards and woman hunters who performed all kinds of sinful activities, but now we have been given the opportunity to chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra. Therefore we should always appreciate this opportunity

Everyday I risk my life in hunting and robbery and work in rain and cold, to get you food. I get lot of bashing while robbing jewels. All jewels you only use. So you will also take a share in the sins I incur in my activities also right?

Ratnakar has robbed so many people in his life, but no one was able to create inquisitiveness in his heart about the goal of life and concepts like pious and sinful activities. But when he robbed the saintly persons headed by Narada Muni (he didn’t even serve them but attacked them), by their brief association, there was awakening of his spiritual consciousness. This is the power of association of saintly persons

Everyone is under obligations to karma and it reactions. No one can change this… The best welfare activity is raising people to the platform of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, since the conditioned souls are suffering only for want of Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

Please don’t be afraid. Your son will become a great sage and by Lord’s will, he would compose a glorious literature broadcasting the glories of Lord Rama.

Nārada Muni elevated so many fallen souls. This Vālmīki Muni was also. So he was given this mantra, "Rāma." He could not chant it. Then he was advised to just the opposite, marā. marā means dead body. So marā marā marā. Three marā means one rāma is there. So in this way, he was initiated and he became a great sage.

Out of humility he expressed how he was unqualified in all respects as  bhakti nāi beda nāi nāme khub daro - I have no devotion, nor do I have any knowledge, but I have strong faith in the holy name of Kṛṣṇa. With this single wealth, Srila Prabhupada was able to elevate people from various backgrounds to the highest platform of love of God. He proved that chanting of the holy names is universally applicable irrespective of material qualification. 

Please may Lord save us from this situation. Either you don’t become old or if you become old, then come to the temple and engross yourself in this scripture that is the perfection of old age and your experience. These young ones will be helped by your own experience and give them the real knowledge and that will be the best service to Srila Prabhupad and his representatives. Don’t waste your time and as soon as possible, please create these things into your life somehow or the other satisfy the Lord, satisfy the saints, satisfy the sages and if you do that, that is the perfection of your life.

Because they were definite that, "there is something he has forgotten and he wants to tell to us. So if he speaks, we may find out some 20,000$ more you know." (laughter). So, the doctor said, “He will definitely speak, but he will only speak for 5 minutes and then he will die.”  So they said, "don’t worry. Let him die, but let him speak." (laughter). This is, this is the crowd which we are in.  And this crowd we call family.

So this is the natural result that you will feel good and you’ll become happy. So since then, continuously I am chanting: 

Your body will definitely age, but you will not feel that you are aging because you are always with the nityaṁ nava-navāya-mānam Krishna, always very fresh Krishna. Because you are with Krishna, then His qualities come in you, and in old age also, you will be very enthusiastic to perform these activities. Without these activities, old age is a hell really.

Srila Prabhupada has taken shelter of Mahamantra. Caitanya Mahaprabhu very mercifully incarnated and because of His incarnation it has become very easy for us to chant Mahamantra. If we can take it very seriously from His life, all other pastimes are related around this truth – this chanting of Mahamantra

Our mind is the most abominable thing we are carrying. It will always drag you away from the spiritual activity. And it will give very favourable arguments to you. Don't follow the mind; be the controller of the mind. And how you can control? Scriptural evidence, pramāṇaih. You must have scriptural evidence.

Wherever they go, they buy because these people have a disease to buy [laughs]. They earn money and they buy. So Prabhupada said, "Yes, you buy, but you buy for Krishna". Thus, he gave Krishna to them and they are very happy.

Can you imagine? Can you imagine that this can be the effect of Mahamantra? Can you? By Mahamantra, could you build a palace-like building? And if somebody tells by chanting Mahamantra, you can build palaces, would you believe? We won't believe. But it is in front of us. And innumerable palaces, innumerable farm communities, innumerable devotees. Wherever we go, we get nice mangala arati sweets -- rasa gullas, and oh, god. Where are they coming from? Mahamantra.

We are not decreasing our material fever. And that was the job of this incarnation. He came and He peeled our ears. Caitanya Mahaprabhu peeled our ears and He woke us up, "You foolish, what are you doing? Why are you sleeping? You just wake up and take some harinam." It was that incarnation. 

kali-kalmaṣa-nāśanam. Kali means Kali yuga. kalmaṣa means all inebriety of Kali yuga. nāśanam - completely destroyed. Just by chanting these sixteen words, this is guaranteed. This is guaranteed. Don't be in a sleep. You please wake up to this. And don't disbelieve the instructions of the scriptures.

And direction, everything is there = purport, word meaning and translation. So we are taking so much trouble in writing book, and not for simply making market. It is for you to read it. Not that simply you go and sell books.

I'm not a magician. But so far I am confident that I did not adulterated the words of Kṛṣṇa. That's all. That's my credit. I did not like to take the position of Kṛṣṇa. I remained servant of Kṛṣṇa, and I spoke what Kṛṣṇa said. That's all. This is my secret. So everyone can do that. There is nothing magic. The magic will act as soon as you become a pure devotee of Kṛṣṇa. The magic will be done by Kṛṣṇa, not by me or you. He will do it. Just like

Whatever remedy is prescribed in the pages of Bhagavatam is without any reaction. That is bhakti. And the effectual remedy, Rām bān protects you. The remedy is sākṣād bhakti-yogam adhokṣaje. Kṛṣṇa bhakti is the, the remedy to remove, to mitigate all the disturbances in life. Don't doubt about it please. There is no room for doubt. All the scriptures say the same thing

Everything is changing. Our bodies are changing.  Be reminded everything is changing here. That is why we have to be ready for the disappearances. This one thing we should remember. Till we are alive we have so many people we have to say tata..It is not coming back tatta..final tata

Our beloved spiritual master HH Mahavishnu Goswami Maharaj very nicely says, "In a quarrel the person who is the loudest gains the upper hand. The loudest sound is actually silence. If ever there is any quarrel, learn to be silent and remember Krishna." 

How dare you disobey the command of your mother? There is no use in having offspring that disobeys my commands. I curse that all you will be destroyed by fire, before too much time has elapsed.
