This boy sweeps my room, so I am grateful to him, this boy doesn’t do anything, that’s why I am grateful to him. (laughter) And this one is rascal, that’s why I am grateful to him, at least he hears me. (laughter) This boy is always smiling, so I am grateful. (laughter) So, you people have come all the way, we are very grateful to you. So, please tolerate all the inconveniences and excuse us and put your heads into Bhagavatam.

We may have some defective kirtan or whatever, in Bhagavatam it is said whether if you are shouting, screaming or fighting with Krishna’s names, even then They work.

The point is going to come when all the living entities has to come to Prabhupada in order to have peaceful life situation. Otherwise, under the name of religion, everything is going on nonsense. And because of that the most precious human life is completely destroyed under the name of suicide squad or whatever. Please don’t be consumed by these things.

Riches is not opulence. Without riches also you can be opulent. This we don’t understand. We take it that if I have money then I am opulent. No. Opulence must have the genuine devotional service to Krishna, then you have opulence.

Religion is same for all living entities. Because it doesn’t matter who is who, but everybody has a soul, and everybody is part and parcel of God or Krishna or whatever we tell. Who can deny this? And if everybody is part and parcel of Krishna, they should be attracted to the Supreme Absolute Truth.

For us also, for our own good, we should have unflinching faith in the writings of Prabhupada. That is the beginning. And as soon as you start reading, then he convinces you. And under the name of religion, we don’t do anything wrong. We shun from the wrong things that is our position after reading Prabhupada’s books. So, if your life is pure then somebody is bound to be attracted.

As soon as you don’t take shelter of the experience person, you are destroyed. mahān, great persons. And great in a sense, those who are knowledgeable

Because whether Muslim, Hindu or whatever we are, whichever faith we follow, everybody has to take birth, everybody has to die, everybody has to become old and everybody has to become diseased.

After writing so much, Vyasadev was not satisfied. So, when the writer is not satisfied with his writings, how can the readers be satisfied? And, when he is not satisfied, he did not go to the women to be satisfied, otherwise, Vyasa Bhagavan could have got married and he would say forget about the Vedas, now I am married.

Really this is coming from paurva-dehikam in Bhagavad Gita (6.43), it is known as paurva-dehikam, why we are sitting here only 6 boys, because of paurva-dehikam. Previous birth we have performed something, so as soon as we saw something like that, you caught it. This is paurva-dehikam.

The King was very pleased to relieve him from the materialistic works. He retired him from the service, granted him a full salary as a pension and requested him to engage without anxiety in the service of Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s Lotus Feet.

The king was highly convinced that by the mercy of all the devotees, one can attain the shelter of the lotus feet of the Lord.

Unto those great souls who have implicit faith in both the Lord and the spiritual master, all the imports of Vedic knowledge are automatically revealed.

This is in continuation of the previous offering titled, "Glorious Qualities of King Prataparudra" wherein we were trying to meditate on some of the qualities of King Prataparudra as described by Sri Krishna das kaviraj Goswami in Caitanya Caritamra Madhya Lila. In yesterday's offering we were meditaing on the quality of submissive inquiry. Now we shall see further.

When one is inspired by the Lord, who is sitting in everyone’s heart, he does not care for social custom or Vedic regulative principles.

Unless one inquires into spiritual life, everything is useless. Without spiritual inquiry, our labour and the object of our labour are simply a waste of timeUnless one inquires into spiritual life, everything is useless. Our mind says that you want this, and we are cheated by the mind and run after it. As soon as you follow the mind, you are going to the ditch, mano-gatān. And then what is to be done, ātmany evātmanā tuṣṭaḥ, you have to be satisfied your own self and the Super self, that is Paramatma and atma. And then sthita-prajñas tadocyate - you can steady your mind and then that becomes sama-matibhiḥ.

we must always catch Him, otherwise He will run away. And always catch means, except our bread and butter activities, we should always be with Him, through the scriptures, through His name, chanting, singing, hearing, all these are the different stages of devotional service and this is unbroken – apratihatā, that is the meaning of apratihatā.

The whole cheating process is going on because we don’t know the future and we don’t go to the person who knows the future. Krishna is trikal jnani, He knows past very well, He knows present and He knows the future also.

You eat anything, eventually it is going to be converted into stool. It is not that the rasgulla comes out. (Laughter) We eat rasgulla, it is stool, you eat srikand, it is stool, whatever you eat, it is going to be stool. Nothing come out in its original form. (Laughter) Man, why are you mourning about, anything you put in, eventually it is going to be stool.

Whichever situation we are in, must be sanctioned by Krishna, isn’t it? We always say in our language, everybody quotes, that even the leaf of the tree doesn’t move without the sanction of Krishna. So, if He is not giving you water, is it not sanctioned by Him?

Doesn’t matter who you are, you may be very rich or very poor or whatever, very learned or fool or whatever. There is no exception. As soon as you break the rule of Bhagavat Dharma, you are going to be miserable.

One man is arranging - there was no light, we couldn’t do anything, but everyone was saying, "no light, no light, no light, no light." Aare man beads are there, you mouth is there, mouth does not require the light to chant, (laughter) but doctor is upset, compounder is upset, everybody is upset.

. There was one saint in Vrindavan, so he was very old and he was on his death bed. So, it was declared that he was going to come out and give the lecture before he dies.

Without Krishna, a human being cannot write like this. That’s why as soon as you go through Prabhupada writings, you are really experiencing Krishna on every step. Where else when you go away from his writings, then on every junction of your life, there is a distress. Anywhere you go, anything you do, becomes completely distressful. So please somehow or other I honestly request you wherever you are, be with Prabhupada.

You are an elderly personality, and you are lying on my path. It is not proper for me to jump over your body, for the Supreme Soul exists in everyone. It is also disrespectful to elders. If I had not known that Supreme Lord exists in everyone’s heart, then I would have leapt over your body and this mountain as the great Hanuman did when he crossed the sea to Lanka.

Why do you make so much noise? Most of the animals in this region were sleeping peacefully, and now you have awakened them. Please be more considerate, and do not be so cruel to the inhabitants of this region.

Humility is not in saying “I am nothing” but in realizing that “Without Krishna, I am nothing.”

Our elders always used to instruct us that when someone is lying down, we should not even cross over them, as this will be a form of disrespect to the Supersoul situated within them.

You should just talk nicely. nicely smiling... These children come, I tell them to smile, and they bloom.  And they like it. Otherwise, nobody tells them to smile. They come running to me and I just smile only. (laughter) priya vākya pradānena. They don’t want anything else.  

The principle of non violence not only means that we stop meat eating, but we should stop slaughtering others with harsh words.
